Mar 6, 2020With songs as good as these, there’s no need to grow up and stop slacking off.
-
Mar 9, 2020Collector is clever, catchy and addictive, and gets better with repeat plays. You can only imagine he and Disq know exactly what they’re doing.

Q MagazineMar 10, 2020Excellent from start to finish. [May 2020, p.103]

Mar 5, 2020The songs that do make up Collector are packed with interesting guitar tones, an intuition for pop magic and a message that should be shouted from the rooftops.

Mar 10, 2020Disq's Collector offers a stellar debut that delivers on most of the promise of its early singles. If the blaring guitars, chaotic edge, and sharp pop sensibilities of Disq's advance singles brought you to the band, there will be a lot to enjoy here. While some of the album cuts falter, Collector is still an intriguing debut and makes me excited for what Disq will do next.

Mar 5, 2020The direct intimacy with Slone’s inner-thoughts, witnessed both in terms of its creative flourishes and depressive ramblings, is also indicative of this vividly local feature. It'll be the challenge of managing this aesthetic as they continue to grow, especially following the release of such an excellent record, that could prove central as to where they head next.
-
Mar 5, 2020Collector feels a bit uneven at times, but in the end Disq has enough attitude and smart ideas to keep things exciting.
