ZakKNov 13, 2004This is such a disappointing album. His versus sound lazy. He does have some funny stuff in it. This is a good or great album for other rappers, but eminem this is just crap.

TannerWNov 13, 2004Amazing CD. This CD would be one of the best that Eminem has done. For all you who hate this CD, you don't understand rap.

AndreYNov 13, 2004Honestly its only the so called hardcore 'real' fans that cannot accept that this album is pure garbage. Look at all the reviews its really is THAT bad!

MarshallMNov 13, 2004FACT: Horrendous Never dreamed in a million years that an Eminem would sound as bad as this....

KatiePNov 13, 2004Where's the Eminem we used to know? The eminem who'd put time into every track? The eminem who once called himself a "perfectionist"? The only good songs are Puke, Mockingbird and Crazy in Love. Don't waste your money. This CD is a disgrace.

AdamNov 12, 2004I am glad Eminem released this CD. He will now seperate the real fans who actually listen to him and the little bastards and hippocrits who claim to be "Eminem Fans". This album is brilliant because he's not rapping about what you want and he's changing his style. I don't need to try to convince anyone else though, I know this is a great album.

[Anonymous]Nov 12, 2004Some of his most brilliant work is on this album like "Toy Soldiers", Mosh", and "Crazy In Love". Even half trying, he is much better than most rappers out there. I think this will be a CD that most people will not understand until a few years down the road. "Rain Man" is a great song, give it some more listens.

JasonSNov 12, 2004Quality cd, Crazy in Love, Mockingbird and Encore are the best tracks.

RyanCNov 12, 2004Encore is the perfect title for this album, because it is more of the same old stuff. Nothing new, nothing original, just the same schtick. And while that was good enough back then, it's just growing old now. I mean, the lyrics "You make my peepee go da-doing-doing-doing?" back to the drawing board, em.

NickRNov 12, 2004Eminem continues to shine. It's a brilliant album. If you give it the right amount of listens. you will be giving it a 10 to.

RobertTNov 12, 2004I listened to it.... and I listened again.. and again. But most of the tracks are really boring. It took me by surprise, but the new Eminem album is a real disaster. It lacks originality, catchiness and some uptempo tracks. What a shame.

DaveANov 12, 2004this album sucks once again he uses other people's ideas eminem show in contrast to the shaggy show(ICP)??this time he rips off of a rapper Jay-Z i didnt like Jay-Z but after hearing this CD i would rather listen to him or Ja Rule at least Ja Rule is consistent with his bullshit

MartijnV.Nov 12, 2004I was quite disappointed by this one. A couple good/funny songs but there are some very bad ones on this one. And overal his lyrics are not that great.

"Encore" is almost willfully uneven: it includes some of the most exhilarating songs Eminem has ever recorded, alongside some of the most inert. [15 Nov 2004]
-
For the most part, Encore's strained, vaguely sad, regressive wackiness makes a lucid and compelling argument that Eminem should retire Slim Shady and let the real, serious Marshall Mathers stand up and be heard.
-
Encore is a fourth fascinating record from Eminem, but it's also easily his weakest and, in many ways, tamest album to date.
