One can’t help but be impressed with how every song is critical to Essential Tremors’ progression, each song being placed in just the right spot.

Conventional wisdom holds that rock and roll will never die. It’s the fist-pumping, ass-shaking, lighter-raising efforts of bands like J. Roddy Walston and the Business that ensure that axiom remains true.

It's a fine outing from a versatile band that knows what they do best, and man, they can rock.

A strong component of the record is the varying light and shade between tracks, with head-bangers like 'Heavy Bells' sitting alongside reflection and soul.

Good old school rock and roll. They'll get a lot of comparisons to Kings of Leon but that's not a bad thing. They not ripping off their style. Rather they have their own unique southern rock sound that is in line with other southern rock bands. Heavy bells even reminded a bit of Nirvana.....but in a upbeat sort of way. Really glad I picked up this album and I'd recommend that others do as well. Full Review »
