    All this studious box-ticking and attention-to-detail comes at a price, which is that II becomes more of a tribute to the music of yesteryear than, say, a work of art that’s relevant to the world surrounding it.

Different decades in the music are passing by, audible in the early metal, psychedelia and blues rock. Ty Segall is the master of musical expressions, though Moothart and Ubovich provide the heavy guitar rhythm of the band. Although the influences of other musicians are present, without difficulty the man providing their own musical contribution to it. Fuzz should therefore not go through life as a project, but as a power trio with the ability to revive the old times.
