PaulKJun 7, 2007The whole album is a huge disappointment. I found only three tracks worthy of keeping on my computer and none worthy of my ipod. They have changed to sound more like the horrible pop we hear all the time on the radio.

ChiiNJun 8, 2007OMGG I Love Linkin Park~!! Their new album is so cool~! I have "What I've Done" playing in my head/or ipod 24/7 I still love "Somewhere I Belong~!"

JimboHJun 9, 2007The variety on the CD favors buying the tracks individually after you listen to a preview because there are only 2 nu-metal songs, a couple songs that sound like a few of the other songs you hear this year, some that sound... different, and one thats not really much of a song. Definately a more mature sounding CD, but maybe thats not what everyone is listening for.

SidSJul 20, 2007It is a great change LP have brought to themselves.I liked Hybrid Theory,Meteora was great. But MTM is very very different. This Album consists of variety of genres.Bleed it out,What ive done,Shadow of the Day and Leave out all the rest are the key tracks of the album and these are the tracks that got MTM a 7 from me.

tylerJul 3, 2007it was a very great album.. the style was different but i enjoyed it very much so. i watched an interview on the band and they were saying that they were sick of the same sound.. many bands have replicated their old sound and they wanted something new..and i agree. great album.

peterJul 30, 2007Great sounding album, It's a step back to old fashioned song making in the form of ballads and I have no problem with that

wescAug 1, 2007it isnt all that great coming from a band like Linkin Park

DamianAug 20, 2007It's an OK album but it's nowhere as good as Meteora or Hybrid Theory.

BethB.Aug 30, 2007There's a reason why the critics are sitting at computer terminals and Linkin Park are out filling stadiums and arenas. They are musicians and they do their particular brand of music very very well.

JustynG.Mar 26, 2008This is the absolute best album I have ever heard and anyone who say Linkin Park is not music must either be deaf or or have an IQ of 50 or lower Linkin Park is the greatest band of all time and more people should realize that..

JosephP.May 6, 2008I used to love linkin park, hybrid theory and meteora were epic as was Collision Course...but this just sucked, the only song i liked was Bleed It Out because it was catchy, they need to go back to their roots.

BenFFeb 9, 2009Ok, could have been better by a lot because it is more boring than their previous albums because it has less metal and rap to it. I love "Given Up" and "Bleed It Out". "What I've Done" is okay but the sound is not very good or exciting. Meteora and Hybrid Theory are a lot better.

GavinM.Nov 20, 2007Me I'm a hard core linkin park fan and i stick by them no matter whot they do this album actually brought a nice change as it has some light hearted songs compared to thier previous works of art the onli song i dont like is 'No More Sorrow' as it stands out fro.m the rest when they sed they would blend them all together plus its too heavy for this album

Awards & Rankings
-
The California rap-rockers are stymied by their decision to stay roughly within the shrieky boundaries of their genre (albeit with less emphasis on the rap).
-
Amid the stabs at growth, every new effect sounds borrowed.
-
As you might imagine, the band’s emo makeover doesn’t always go smoothly.
