    In one of the few perfect 10s of this decade, Kanye West seemingly hits everything musically on MBDTF. The production, features, lyricism, and beats make for a beautiful and conflicting listening experience. Arguably the most complete musical album of the 10s’, definitely deserves and will receive listens for years to come.

    This is one of the most well produced album from Kanye. The lyrics are clever and the features worked really well, but the only problem I have with this is the second half of the album, So Appalled is a track that lowers the energy of the album as it comes after a hard track like Monster. Devil in a new dress is a good track and Rick Ross has good flow that goes well with the beat. RunawayThis is one of the most well produced album from Kanye. Blame game is a ok song but the end goes on after a while and gets boring pretty fast. Lost in the World is well produced track and a good use of the features on the track. Overall I feel like this album could have been one of the best Kanye albums but some of these song lowered this album quite a bit.… Expand

    Sonically and lyrically, a jaw-dropping performance from Kanye and his team of artists and producers. West seems to have a 3rd eye in this album for feature choice. The grandiose choirs and samples all working in unison to push the message of racism, self improvement, and unrelenting yet justified arrogance, make for one of the greatest pieces of musical work this decade has ever seen. The sheer amount of thought and effort seemingly put into every track, and the hard hitting, thought provoking, witty, and humorous lyrics that can be found within them justifies the critical acclaim. In my opinion, this album alone has cemented Kanye as the greatest rapper alive, maybe even of all time. 10/10

    An amazing album. It's so lush, dense, and beautiful. The album is a representation of maximalist Hip-Hop at its peak. With a mixture of strings, layered vocals, synthesizers, samples, and big hard-hitting drums, the album is almost cinematic. Not one song on here is a miss.

Immediately from the ominous vocals from Nicki Minaj on Dark Fantasy, you knew this album would be something special. Then comes,in my opinion, the best song on the album; Gorgeous. Brilliant features from Kid Cudi and Raekwon as well as Kanye having some top bars ("Whats a Black Beatle anyway, a f*cking roach"). Then comes Power, a brilliant well produced song with so much energy. All of the Lights features incredible Rihana vocals and intimidating energy from Kanye who makes the beat his own. All I have to say about Monster is Nicki Minaj: enough said. So appalled is a slightly weaker track however this track is better than a lot of rappers best songs and it features the first of Pusha T's iconic features.Then Kanye is back to his best on Devil in a new Dress and this might be the best Rick Ross Verse ever made- and probably to ever exist. Runaway is a sombre track where Kanye reflects on his failed relationships. Excellent production and an excellent Pusha T feature. The final 3 tracks are not as good as the rest of the album but they all remain solid tracks. There is nothing bad to be said about this album. 10/10.A Masterpiece.… Expand

    Impeccable album with very little flaws if any, the intro song is amazing and has some all time classics. There isn't a single bad song on the album and none are skips. Even lower songs like HOAL and Blame Game are still incredible and replayable. Very easily Kanye’s best album.

Saying that, I do believe My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is one of the best albums I have listened to. From production to the experimental sounds used to better the album, it is well rounded. The song 'Runaway' was in my opinion theBeing the first Kanye album I listened to, it was honestly surprising. I'm not the biggest fan of Hip-Hop, I mainly stay around Rock or Classic Rock music. The best album I've ever heard, the Lost In The World music video is definitely the highlight, it has references to Satan, and both the opposition of words in the lyrics with the mirror that shows two opposite sides allude to the “As above, so below; as below, so above” quote, it throws explicit satanic messages at your face and looks like a representation of hell at the same time, and All of the Lights imagery was heavy influenced by the Gaspar Noé "Enter The Void" movie, the whole album it's just so satisfying to watch and we'll executed, it's a masterpiece… Expand

    "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" is probably one of the greatest albums of all time. Everything about this album is masterful, and every song is thought out carefully with maximum effort. It's an obvious 10. If a reviewing platform as stubborn as Pitchfork gives an album a 10, you know it's an excellent album.

    This album might be the most maximalist album to have come out during the 2010s decade has aged like fine wine. Dark Fantasy is an all time great introduction track and Power has some of the best production I’ve ever heard. Overall, what makes this album get the acclaim it gets is the production. Just an absolute masterpiece of an album. 10/10
