    The Flaming Lips provide some good ethereal, spacious psychedelic rock on this record, though they don't really sound anything like a band, more of a vehicle for singer Wayne Coyne.

    For those fans of the Yoshimi and Soft Bulletin era of the Flaming Lips, Oczy Mlody will seem miles ahead of its 2013 predecessor "The Terror," though there may be too many remnants of that sound that seep into the tracks here. Those who enjoy a long, experimental listen will likely enjoy the Lips newest project, but those that long for the days of Yoshimi are likely to be disappointedFor those fans of the Yoshimi and Soft Bulletin era of the Flaming Lips, Oczy Mlody will seem miles ahead of its 2013 predecessor "The Terror," though there may be too many remnants of that sound that seep into the tracks here.
