"Past Lives" is an album by L.S. Dunes, a supergroup consisting of Anthony Green, Frank Iero, Travis Stever, Tim Payne, and Tucker Rule. The album can be described as a complex network of interconnected threads, like a spider's web, that captures and unifies all the noise, riffs, and obsessive choruses within it. The lyrics of the songs delve into themes of struggle, stress, anxiety,"Past Lives" is an album by L.S. The lyrics of the songs delve into themes of struggle, stress, anxiety, despair, deception, physical pain, and the past. The album can be seen as an enchanted mirror that reflects the present in detail, but also the past and its possibilities, moments of rupture, and instances. The lyrics of the songs also frequently reference loneliness, feeling trapped or confined, and alienation. Overall, "Past Lives" is an introspective and introverted album that explores the complexities and difficulties of the human experience. The sheer relentlessness dilutes that thrill factor, but there are shades, notably on the stately opener 2022 and the closing Sleep Cult. [Feb 2023, p.91]

L.S. Dunes' defiant, topical, and anthemic sound draws from a wide array of punk and hardcore subgenres.

It feels refreshing, and like a bunch of really good mates have got together to share their experiences with the world. L.S. Dunes could well change the tide on all things post-hardcore.
