    SUCESSOR NATURAL. Um dos melhores da Katy Perry, O PRISM chega com o hino aclamado roar que lhe rendeu mais um #1 pra conta. Iluminado, alegre, porém com um lado também obscuro, o prism mostra a evolução da Katy Perry em realçao ao TD. O único erro foi não ter tornado LL single, mas nós a perdoamos por isso.

    Balance! KP3 brings the best of the first album (A clean and smooth voice) intrinsic to the trump card of the second album (The childish and repetitive pop footprint). The PRISM repertoire may have been poorly structured, but by doing a deeper analysis (and filtering), you can put aside those commercial songs and capture the real sense of "transmitting the light" idealized by theBalance! KP3 brings the best of the first album (A clean and smooth voice) intrinsic to the trump card of the second album (The childish and repetitive pop footprint). The PRISM repertoire may have been poorly structured, but by doing a deeper analysis (and filtering), you can put aside those commercial songs and capture the real sense of "transmitting the light" idealized by the sunflowers on the cover. Songs like "Spiritual", "Double Rainbow" and "By The Grace of God" reveal the purity of Perry's heart, show the artist's evolution in song interpretation, and the production's maturity in taking the best of the 2 predecessors, and apply evenly in this.
    In addition to those already mentioned, the songs "Unconditionally" and "Dark Horse" deserve special mention.

    Prism es un álbum que mueve todos tus sentidos. Los sonidos son tan variados que pareciera son muchos álbumes en uno; Prism es magia. Tiene una canción para cada estado de ánimo.

    trazendo luz igual um prisma o terceiro álbum de estúdio da cantora surpreendeu a todos os fã que acharam que iriam ganhar uma era dark, entretanto ela entrega um trabalho repleto de luz. Na primeira parte é totalmente um pop parecido com o seu album antigo, teenage dream, mas claro com um toque amadurecimento. Já na segunda parte katy aprofunda em temas que ela não havia escrito antestrazendo luz igual um prisma o terceiro álbum de estúdio da cantora surpreendeu a todos os fã que acharam que iriam ganhar uma era dark, entretanto ela entrega um trabalho repleto de luz. Na primeira parte é totalmente um pop parecido com o seu album antigo, teenage dream, mas claro com um toque amadurecimento. Já na segunda parte katy aprofunda em temas que ela não havia escrito antes como depressão além de fazer novamente música sobre amor próprio e sobre relacionamentos passados.     While it's hard to live up to Teenage Dream, Prism is able to compete with Katy Perry's previous album. Dark Horse, Roar, Birthday, Legendary Lovers, Unconditionally, By The Grace of God, Walking On Air, This Is How We Do, basically you could put most of her track listening on here.

    O problema é que Katy Perry nunca foi considerada um artista séria para a crítica, o popular e importante “Teenage Dream” só recebeu 52 no Metacritic e é um dos álbuns mais importantes da cultura pop, e mesmo com todos aqueles recordes, parecia que ela ainda precisava se provar, para muitos era quase uma afronta que com apenas três álbuns de estúdio ela ter se equiparado as grandes estrelas (e ela já tinha conseguido esse feito no seu segundo álbum de estúdio), então do que mais ela precisava para ser considerada um artista de verdade pela crítica, queimar a Baby Blue de uma vez por todas? Se tornar uma artista mais politica?     Katy Perry proved she is one of the greatest pop artist of this generation. This album is full of pop-perfect songs but also meaningful lyrics are in. Roar, Double Rainbow and Ghost are the top tracks.

    Sinceramente, uno de sus mejores álbumes. Muestra cómo crece y la mujer que es. Una identidad entre ser adolescente (Teenage Dream) y adulta (Witness). Un álbum fantástico. Roar te da fuerzas. Walking on Air y Legendary Lovers te hace volar. Dark Horse muy memorable. Love Me,Ghost, It takes to, Double Rainbow, entre otros muestra cómo Diosty no se aleja del rock del que siempre hizo.

    While it is far from being my favorite Katy album, it is probably the one that represents her the most. With the first half being pop songs and radios hits, the second half is much more slower and personal. She produced another hit album, and songs like Legendary Loves, Walking On Air and International Smile are MUST listen.

    It doesn’t require the patience or emotional/intellectual involvement that albums I typically listen to require. The cool thing, though, is that it does have quite a bit of redeeming value.
