    Su tercer álbum muy bueno, canciones muy comerciales y populares junto con diferentes estilos letras y sonidos muy trabajado maravillosos me encanta este álbum es toda una mujer empoderar un super album.

    It does have decent songs for most of it, but it lacks the dream and catchy sounds her previous album included. Songs like "Ghost" are fine, but elevator-music fine. This is not an album that a top-notch artist should release at the height of her career. Also, the vocals? Half bad, half good. It's pretty mediocre for what it is. She probably rushed into this, it's just not proper. It'sIt does have decent songs for most of it, but it lacks the dream and catchy sounds her previous album included. Songs like "Ghost" are fine, but elevator-music fine. This is not an album that a top-notch artist should release at the height of her career. Also, the vocals? Half bad, half good. It's pretty mediocre for what it is. She probably rushed into this, it's just not proper. It's like she goes a step back after "Teenage Dream" as an artist. Kudos for trying something new in songs like "This is how We Do" though, because for the most part, it's a fun experimentation. But, just a fun experimentation as a whole.     This album is not a masterpiece, but it's a great pop album. It's just as commercial as Teenage Dream, but it has some inspirational songs like Choose Your Battles, Spiritual and Unconditionally. This last one is a strong ballad that may burst eventually; highlight verses: "Acceptance is the key to be truly free" and "I'll take your bad days with your good". Teenage Dream was so "made for party hard", but this album has both sides. The first part (1-8) shows the "fun" moment of the album, while the second (9-16) shows the stronger lyrics and productions, really unique songs. Special attention to the bonus tracks; these three tracks are her best songs ever: It Takes Two, Spiritual (I feel some touch of Alanis Morissette listening to it) and Choose Your Battles (this and By The Grace Of God both were co-produced by her). No need too much to realize that she took a step forward in her career, she just needs to focus more in her music, not only the charts.… Expand

    Eu amo incondicionalmente a Katy e seus trabalhos e sempre serei parcial quanto a minha opinião aqui expressa.
    Amo muitas faixas do PRISM, mas tem umas que não tem como defender a honra desse álbum com faixas tão genérias e batidas como "Birthday, This Is How We Do e International Smile".
    Eu não vejo ALMA neste disco, não vejo algo no qual eu e as pessoas possamos nos inspirar. Faltou    Eu amo incondicionalmente a Katy e seus trabalhos e sempre serei parcial quanto a minha opinião aqui expressa.

    The best album of Katy Perry! I love this! Roar, Dark Horse and This is How We do are adorable. By the grace of God and Legendary Lovers... uau! I can't wait for WITNESS!

    5 points off because the album feels like it should spawn hits, and that is not artistic development.

    You will dance to it and enjoy some non-dull tracks, but overall it's just another pop release. No surprises, innovations, or risks here.

    Prism marked the change of Katy going from "I wanna make big hits" to "I wanna make meaningful hits" and did that really work? Well Roar was a fun song it was definitely in line with Shake It Off, where it's not a great song but it gets the message across. So the era started off on an ok hit. And we got a few tastes of the album before it came out and they were ok. When the album came out I was kind of scared because Katy's idea of a meaningful song was just meh to me and a lot of other people. And I was right the album had a few fun songs, but the songs that were supposed to be taken seriously were just not. Katy created another decent album and of course it did not have Teenage Dream's sales success or song success. The only song after Roar to be a real hit was Dark Horse which was a semi-big hit but of course still not as big as anything like her recent bangers. This album marked the decline of her career commerical wise and quality wise.… Expand

    Es una obvia evolución al escuchar todos los matices que nos ofrece PRISM, el gran trabajo en sus letras y sus sonidos hace que el fan y el melomano puedan sumergirse en un maravilloso mundo de emotividad y sentimentalismo.

    Prism was one of the best records released in 2013. With its more mature lyrics, Katy proved herself much more than others thought about her. This time Katy bother to speak her truth instead of just releasing pop music generics.

    This is one of her most personal album yet, you can tell shi found herself. one of best pop albums of 2013. We started with "ROAR", a song with great message, self empowerment, a great start to a great album. We can find great ballads like "ghost" and "by the grace of god", full of emotions and a great lyric.     I'm surprised with the amount of negative reviews with this one. Sure its not the same with her "Teenage Dream" album. Its not as hype or fun with it but it is more mature and very positive. Its more inspiring. Well it is still Katy Perry but a lot more responsible with her actions. The songs are great and I'm impressed that she co-wrote all of them so props to Katy.     Katy Perry's Prism has shown a vulnerable side of her and the song show empowerment, commitment and faith. This shows the inside of a true artist, spreading the light in!!!

    PRISM feels like a repeat of the Tenage Dream formula. Alhtough there are substantial songs like Spiritual, This Moment and Legendary Lovers, the whole is just disconnected. Its an album made of different songs together, sometimes feeling empty and with no self identity.

    Amazing!! Prism is so fresh. Katy is so fresh. Best pop singer ever!! This record is so lovely, Katy find herself e looks like she's pretty comfortable. LET THE LIGHT IN!

In addition, she's gone through some tough times in recent years, with the divorce from Russell Brand being one of them... and given that 2013 has been a year for "personal albums", it only seemsShe's a pretty admirable girl, from her humble gospel beginnings as Katy Hudson to spots on Vans Warped Tour and a pair of successful albums, and she sure didn't earn it all by doing nothing.     This album is full of light! Katy has evolved from her One Of The Boys days, to Teenage Dream until PRISM; we can appreciate something different in each song, from Roar to Choose Your Battles each one has a special meaning and a different spectrum but all together in the PRISM record. This album shows Katy going from a dark moment to a light ful one. The PRISM record is an absolute piece of art

    Katy's best album so far! Waiting for her next album so I can say it again. In this album you can find everything. Musics to dance, to love, to cry, to think about your life and even to pray. Katy really knows how to do it!

    It doesn’t require the patience or emotional/intellectual involvement that albums I typically listen to require. The cool thing, though, is that it does have quite a bit of redeeming value.
