Terrible. No passion, no soul. Worst album of the year. I need something really good to clean up my ears right now.

"Self-help and sauce remain the remit, which might have been less tiring if “Roar”, “Walking on Air” and “This Moment” offered forms fresher than, respectively, the robo-stutter of Rihanna’s “Umbrella”, weary Italo-house pianos and strenuous stadium bluster to enliven their empowerment-speak." ... Katy sigue estancada en el mismo pop basico y comercial de siempre, se siente adolescente y ya es una mujer de 30 años, no hay madurez ni propuesta...

Prism feels transitional, the work of an artist clever enough to be restless, yet unable to split from a winning formula.

This project feels like an uninspired one, I wanted to like it but it didn't happen.

PRISM is quite the disappointing follow-up to Teenage Dream, which was already a mediocre album. The album may have produced two number 1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100, but the songs are pure trash. This is the beginning of the end of her career.

"You're gonna hear me roar!" Katy keeps wailing on the first track of this collection of generic pop songs that is called an album. And then this album swims through a sea of clichés, ah-ohs, and improper enunciations, which as for the latter, it's "TWENTY TWENTY" not "TWUNNY TWUNNY." The music sounds like something that comes out of Barney or Teletubbies, bright yet cheap. And Katy Perry"You're gonna hear me roar!" Of course, Katy Perry churns out nothing but meaningless drivel, so expectations are low. Yes, Katy Perry is famous, but more like Wayne Newton famous. It's appalling that people's standards are so low that they are willing to accept this rubbish. But if you even like music, never give Katy Perry a chance. Please don't, or Katy Perry will ruin music forever like how Donald Trump and his Russian minions destroyed global diplomacy.

On another note, Katy Perry has the worst Superbowl halftime show of all time, even worse than any Up With People show or that laughable Elvis Presto.

Oh just absolutely awful and trash. Generic, boring. Katy is doing the same old with no signs of maturity or progressiveness in her music, and it became tiring very quickly.

Melhores do álbum: Legendary Lovers, Walking On Air e Unconditionally

This is a very bland album. Nothing stands out in any way and it seems like it's just a watered down version of something Lady Gaga would release. 0/10 if I could, don't waste your money.

I don't know if Katy is so stupid to make music like this or her fans are stupid eough to like this piece of **** I am sad someone wanted to release "Prism". One of the worst albums ever made.

It lacks life and meaning. A generic album that is only for money making schemes. Abosolutey no art and life to the songwriting. The songs might be catchy but it is just one of those catchy songs that really don't make sense. Double Rainbow is the only standout to this horrible compilation. But this album is not the worst out of the rest of Perry's lackluster music

Basic, formulaic and the vocals will hurt your ears. Katy stitches together the same cloth 16 different ways on this album to make it's tracks. Such a downgrade from Teenage Dream, which was at least full of bops.

Juvenile songs screeched in a pitchy voice. Katy claimed this would be her darkest album yet, she still insists on childish songs like 'This is How We Do' and 'Birthday'. It was clear that all Katy was thinking about when "writing" this album was number 1's and chart hits rather than her emotions.
    Considering she's almost 31, it's almost embarrassing.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I was thinking of giving this album a zero, but the only song which changed my mind and saved the album from giving it a 0 is Walking On Air. Legendary Lovers is ok, but all the other songs are horrible. Auto-tune on almost every single song, very cliche lyrics and her voice is standardly annoying & whiny just like in all of the previous albums.

I absolutely do not understand The Telegraph's review. The album is just recycled & boring. SNOOZEFEST. It's just sad to see how pop music looks nowadays.

I was very sad to see how bad is pop music now days. The lyrics are so poor that you can't give a chance to the album, bad melodies et bad lyrics, how sad is it.. The melodies are not even good for a cartoon jingle of the sunday morning..

I used to like her music. It is quite upsetting knowing she made these songs for the charts. She needs to be more fearless and "roar" with something better.

Seriously I could only tolerate like 3 songs from this album. This is such a bad follow up to Teenage dream. Legendary Lovers sounds so cheap and corny. Roar is catchy but the lyrics are so cliche. Birthday and walking on Air are okay. This is How We Do is meh but it's a bop so whatevs. The best track and the only outlier from this mess is Unconditionally so for that I'll give it a oneSeriously I could only tolerate like 3 songs from this album. Everything that is missing from [Lady Gaga's Artpop] is here, but everything that is good about it is spectacularly absent from Prism.

It doesn’t require the patience or emotional/intellectual involvement that albums I typically listen to require. The cool thing, though, is that it does have quite a bit of redeeming value.
