Jan 16, 2018Shopping’s sound is minimal, and almost every song kicks off with a Spaghetti Western guitar riff before being met by a steady beat and chanting vocals by various members.

It does add the slightest variation to their acerbic post-punk, all rendered with a cheerful stance even if there’s an apparent loss of rage. Still, this party feels less exciting than the night before.

Jan 16, 2018What's most unfortunate is that Shopping can do better--evidenced not only by their previous work but by a few stand-out tracks on this album.
