    Su tercer álbum muy bueno, canciones muy comerciales y populares junto con diferentes estilos letras y sonidos muy trabajado maravillosos me encanta este álbum es toda una mujer empoderar un super album.

    It does have decent songs for most of it, but it lacks the dream and catchy sounds her previous album included. Songs like "Ghost" are fine, but elevator-music fine. This is not an album that a top-notch artist should release at the height of her career. Also, the vocals? Half bad, half good. It's pretty mediocre for what it is. She probably rushed into this, it's just not proper. It'sIt does have decent songs for most of it, but it lacks the dream and catchy sounds her previous album included. This last one is a strong ballad that may burst eventually; highlight verses: "Acceptance is the key to be truly free" and "I'll take your bad days with your good". The first part (1-8) shows the "fun" moment of the album, while the second (9-16) shows the stronger lyrics and productions, really unique songs. Special attention to the bonus tracks; these three tracks are her best songs ever: It Takes Two, Spiritual (I feel some touch of Alanis Morissette listening to it) and Choose Your Battles (this and By The Grace Of God both were co-produced by her). No need too much to realize that she took a step forward in her career, she just needs to focus more in her music, not only the charts.… Expand

    Eu amo incondicionalmente a Katy e seus trabalhos e sempre serei parcial quanto a minha opinião aqui expressa.
    Amo muitas faixas do PRISM, mas tem umas que não tem como defender a honra desse álbum com faixas tão genérias e batidas como "Birthday, This Is How We Do e International Smile".
    Eu não vejo ALMA neste disco, não vejo algo no qual eu e as pessoas possamos nos inspirar. Faltou    Eu amo incondicionalmente a Katy e seus trabalhos e sempre serei parcial quanto a minha opinião aqui expressa.

    5 points off because the album feels like it should spawn hits, and that is not artistic development.

    You will dance to it and enjoy some non-dull tracks, but overall it's just another pop release. No surprises, innovations, or risks here.

    Prism marked the change of Katy going from "I wanna make big hits" to "I wanna make meaningful hits" and did that really work? Well Roar was a fun song it was definitely in line with Shake It Off, where it's not a great song but it gets the message across. So the era started off on an ok hit. And we got a few tastes of the album before it came out and they were ok. When the album came outPrism marked the change of Katy going from "I wanna make big hits" to "I wanna make meaningful hits" and did that really work? When the album came out I was kind of scared because Katy's idea of a meaningful song was just meh to me and a lot of other people. And I was right the album had a few fun songs, but the songs that were supposed to be taken seriously were just not. Katy created another decent album and of course it did not have Teenage Dream's sales success or song success. The only song after Roar to be a real hit was Dark Horse which was a semi-big hit but of course still not as big as anything like her recent bangers. This album marked the decline of her career commerical wise and quality wise.… Expand

    Prism was one of the best records released in 2013. With its more mature lyrics, Katy proved herself much more than others thought about her. This time Katy bother to speak her truth instead of just releasing pop music generics.

    This is one of her most personal album yet, you can tell shi found herself. one of best pop albums of 2013. We started with "ROAR", a song with great message, self empowerment, a great start to a great album. We can find great ballads like "ghost" and "by the grace of god", full of emotions and a great lyric.     I'm surprised with the amount of negative reviews with this one. Sure its not the same with her "Teenage Dream" album. Its not as hype or fun with it but it is more mature and very positive. Its more inspiring. Well it is still Katy Perry but a lot more responsible with her actions. The songs are great and I'm impressed that she co-wrote all of them so props to Katy.     PRISM feels like a repeat of the Tenage Dream formula. Alhtough there are substantial songs like Spiritual, This Moment and Legendary Lovers, the whole is just disconnected. Its an album made of different songs together, sometimes feeling empty and with no self identity.

Katy has evolved from her One Of The Boys days, to Teenage Dream until PRISM; we can appreciate something different in each song, from Roar to Choose Your Battles each one has a special meaning and a different spectrum but all together in the PRISM record. This album shows Katy going from a dark moment to a light ful one. The PRISM record is an absolute piece of art

    Amazing album, full of artistic intention and autobiographic content (By the grace of god, unconditionally (wrote in vietnam on unicef mission, inspired by the love of a mother for her children, spiritual...) lots of influences, like r&b and trap on dark horse, and lots of variety and a way more mature album than teenage dream. A very good album and not commecial at all

    Melhor musica, sem duvidas, é Legendary Lovers, essa musica parece que te deixa nas nuvens, Roar e Dark Horse que são as musicas mais bem sussedidas do album, são incriveis, faceis de cantar e com um otimo instrumental, as demais musicas do album são incriveis, a escolha das faixas foi perfeita e a sonoridade incrivel.

    Katy suena muy madura en este álbum, incorporó nuevos sonidos como el oriental Legendary lover y el noventero Walking on air. En cuanto a mensajes la canción Love me y Roar son excelente para sentirse seguro contigo mismo y la sensación de pureza y tranquilidad que expresa Double rainbow como la sinceridad de It takes two hacen de este álbum una excelente opción.

    This is one of my favorite albums. Is simply beautiful, from the huge start with "Roar", a smash hit, till the last song, this album makes me want it never ends. Loved it since the first time.

    Without a doubt, this is Perry's best effort. It is pure pop and iconic. Standout tracks are Roar, Unconditionally, By The Grace of God, Love Me and Dark Horse. This album carries so many messages of love, light and life. It truly is an inspiration and has lyrics that are cleverly written and pure fun. This album is one word - genius.

    Unlike her old album, Katy shows her this more closed side, despite having very contagious tracks. PRISM is an album in which it promised a lot and fulfilled wonderfully well. Perry shows once again how to command pop.

    A lot of this album is very forgettable. The stretch of Walking on air, Legendary Lovers, and Dark Horse, along with Birthday, is really good, but the rest is either cringeworthy or forgettable.

    She for the first time sounds like a real artist, who has found herself and who has many things to tell from the experience of love and desolation. Prism contains the best lyrics of her career, cohesive songs. Absolutely, we also have that Perry's essence (childish) that should already put aside.

    While PRISM may not be quite as fun or fresh as Teenage Dream, it is still very enjoyable and packs in a considerable amount of punch. Like her previous releases, there were a couple of ones I wasn’t crazy about, but overall PRISM is a consistently good album, specifically the second half. I enjoyed seeing the new direction Katy Perry took with her music. While I may not have enjoyed some of this new style at times as much as her previous stuff, I still really liked a considerable amount of the songs from PRISM. I liked her creative use of synths and how they worked together with guitar and piano tracks.

    Due to the character limit, I am unable to provide my entire commentary.

    All in all, PRISM is another solid album from Katy Perry. I thought the new direction of music was fitting, slowly progressing in her career from rock to pop, and PRISM was full of fun, poppy songs. I had previously heard tracks such as Roar from this album, Firework from Teenage Dream, and Hot N Cold from One Of The Boys, but after PRISM I don’t believe I know what her new styles sound like. Hopefully she just stays in the realm of pop and doesn’t go overly-mainstream. Fans of pop music should enjoy this album, and this has been a great experience so far travelling down her career path, and elements of her origins are evident in PRISM. I really enjoyed this album and I cannot wait to dive into her next release. Highlights: Roar, Birthday, Unconditionally, This Is How We Do, International Smile, Ghost, This Moment, Love Me, By The Grace Of God, and It Takes Two.    … Expand

    The album is no longer a sickening thing, there are songs that are missing and are sounding empty but there at the end of the album, it gets more and more enjoyable to listen to! Katy Perry is in a new thing, and coming out of that world of colors as it was. This album is the living proof of one of the great evolutions that she will have to face.

    The musical evolution of Katy's from the songs 9 16, she really let the light in, not so cormecial as "Teenage Dream" and not as organic as "One of The Boys", she finally found herself artistically.
