May 27, 2023This Album Is awesome, I really enjoy all the songs, especially "mama", this is the best song i was listen, thanks MCR
-
May 18, 2023a wonderfully dramatic rock opera. this is mcr's magnum opus. i think this is one of the more interesting ways i've seen a band approach death, and i think mcr managed to be dramatic and edgy, but not to where it removed from the experience of the album. just sit back and devote your attention to the album, and bathe in the edginess.

Jan 4, 2022Overrated album. I love MCR, but i always show critisism where its due. This album has a lot of bad songs and annoying ones (WTTBP, Mama, TIBID,Blood). Some actual masterpieces get left in the shadow, mainly Disenchanted. I can see this album as an OKAY listen but some songs are jusr so bad I wanna remove it from existence

Mar 16, 2021This album explains perfectly why rock is one of the best generes of all time. Absolutely stunning and epic Great work of production and the guitars are unbelievably good. One of the best rock albums out there.

Feb 6, 2021One of the best emo albums ever. Most enjoyed by all Killjoys. Most classic rock fans will love this albums. It is a modern classic. With it's sound it creates a interesting concept for a album. A man dies on a hospital bed and goes through his thoughts. And we the listeners are placed in his mind. All songs are fantastic. Example of a perfect album.

Aug 21, 2019Incredible record, among some of the greatest works in music of the century. The black parade explores the concept of death in a new way, with every track being unforgettable.
-
Nov 14, 2018This is my favorite album from my favorite band, this one means a lot to me, it´s definitely a classic.
-
Oct 7, 2018My Chemical Romance really struck gold with this album. It will forever be known as the album that defined a generation.

Apr 15, 2018This album is really good throughout. This is pretty much a perfect album. Some depressing but fantastic tracks, some catchy hooky songs and some utterly spectacular tracks, it is quite hard to find legitimate flaws with the album without nitpicking. Even the "weaker" songs are great. Definitely MCR's best album. No question!
-
Mar 30, 2018An amazing album that definitely lives up to the expectations set by MCR's previous records "I Brought You My Bullets..." and "Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge". Gerard Way's vocals are so gripping.
Best Tracks: Welcome To The Black Parade, Mama, Famous Last Words
Worst Tracks: N/A -
Mar 18, 2018This is how a band should evolve. A first album that sounded like unfinished demos followed by a rock opera sophomore attempt. With years, TBP gets even better and better and it's going to be remembered as one of the best albums of the 21st century.
Standouts are: The End/Dead, The Sharpest Lives and Welcome to the Black Parade. -

-
Nov 30, 2017Ugh, how can this band put amazing album after amazing album? I can't even decide if I like "Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge" as much or more than this. They haven't put out one bad thing and "The Black Parade" is no exception. This album is so full of life which is ironic because it's about a dying patient. I just love this album to pieces! A+

Dec 4, 2016This album is truly outstanding. A concept album that most people can relate to at some point. Tracks like 'Cancer' and 'Welcome to the Black Parade' are full of emotion and story, where as 'Mama' and 'House of Wolves' are full of instrumental power. This album proves that MCR are no Emo band, but a proper rock band.
-
Dec 3, 2016This has the best songs of the band has ever made ever! I don't know how much times I listened to this perfect album but it is the best album they have made and that's all I can say.
-
Jul 20, 2016This album is my favorite of my chemical romance by far. It has my favorite songs of MCR. This album is greatness just plain greatness. I love the black parade.

Such a good album!! -
Jan 28, 2016Each song could be a single and become a worldwide hit. There's an overwhelming amount of emotions from the very beginning to the very end of the album, one of my all-time favourite records.
-
Dec 23, 2015The Black Parade é um álbum incrível! Gerard Way está no auge da sua voz e as músicas tem ótimas letras, além da ótima instrumental. O ponto alto da carreira de MCR.
Pontos altos: The Sharpest Lives, Sleep, Cancer
Pontos baixos: Blood, The End., Disenchanted -
Dec 21, 2015In my opinion, it is hard to have a better album than this. All the songs are great (including the slower ones). It is also is a great rock opera. If you get the chance, I highly recommend getting this album.
-
-
Jul 21, 2015The album has an amazing storyline and all the songs have a powerful message, especially the amazing Famous Last Words and Welcome to the Black Parade.
-
Jun 10, 2015Every single song stand out in its unique way. The lyrics seem to come from the soul. If you have ever heard "Welcome to the Black Parade" and liked it than this album will be your next love.

-
Jan 12, 2015The best album by My Chemical Romance. The Black Parade perfectly showcases the musical talents, innovative style and almost wacky theatrics of the band. Mama and Blood are examples of some parts maybe sounding slightly too similar to each other, but it features many songs which provoke different emotions to the one before and that is something not many artists can do a heartless b*stard like me.

Nov 22, 2013A lot of people have compared this album to Green Day's American Idiot, and it's not hard to see why. However, that doesn't necessarily mean that it's a ripoff, because that it is not.
-
May 10, 2013This is the most outstanding album I own and that I have ever heard. This is MCR's finest effort. Every single song on this album is incredible, deep, thoughtful, masterful and magical. This is the album against which I compare all others. If I was stuck on a desert island and could only have one CD, The Black Parade would be my choice.

Jun 28, 2012Great follow up to 2004's Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge and the band are as good as ever, producing a fantastic album full of great songs with catchy lyrics and is one of few albums where I love every song.
As an MCR fan I loved this album and would recommend it to any MCR fan or rock fan in general. -

Apr 29, 2012This is a concept album that is so much more than just a story, it's actually got depth, meaning and substance. And what's more, it's a proper rock album.
-
Apr 26, 2012A definite guilty pleasure of mine. This was MCR's "conceptual" album, and honestly, I thought it was brought out nicely. A nice blend of happiness and melancholy makes this a great album. Way to go.

Dec 16, 2011Unique, catchy, and still staying true to their style many have loved since they began. Their songs are meaningful, sombre, and written and performed to perfection.
-
Nov 26, 2011Amazing album with dark and deep lyrics that live up to MCR's "emo" label but it also has that fast pased exciting rebellious punk sound that makes the dark theme of The Black Parade come alive. Possibly my favorite MCR album.
-
Aug 24, 2011In this journey of death my chemical romance comes off stronger than they did in three cheers or I brought you my bullets you brought me your love. With some of their best songs including welcome to the black parade and disenchanted this is a must have album and one of the best albums of the decade 10 out of 10

Sep 25, 2010The best album i've seen. The lyrics, rythm, voice, guitar solos, etc... all in this album is perfect. Amazing. Pure genius.[2]
Three Cheers for Sweet Revange is good, but The Black Parade is the best album of My Chemical Romance. -

MissROct 17, 2008Different to the previous one, but it's fantastic. If It was exactly the same, then it woldn't be good. all the songs are great, and gerard's brash voice matches the songs perfectly, and the theme is united as well. It's an experience of listening to someone's story though music.
-
-
MikeRSep 24, 2008This album fails from the first song. The music feels manufactured and is a huge cliche for the Emo genre.
-
-
JoshL.Jul 19, 2008A great album with some awsome songs like Teenagers, I don't love you, Welcome to the black parade, the sharpest lives, dead!, and famous last words.

StormwatchJun 7, 2008Decent compositions, but the super-loud production ruins it. If I were a member of the band, I'd murder whoever did the mastering!

-
ChristyCMar 23, 2008Dude this CD ROCKS!!!! I don't understand how some of you could rate it so low!!! The songs are brilliant, the lyrics are awesome, AND GERARD WAYS VOICE DOES NOT SUCK TO THAT PERSON WHO SAID IT DID!!!! THis band has awesome talent and I can see them going far in their musical carrier.

rotten777Mar 10, 2008Pathetic fashion rock playing to the minds of young teens and guys who think its ok to wear makeup. Songwriting is terrible. The execution is terrible and typical of something you'd see on MTV.

JoshuaMMar 10, 2008Absolute pop-punk filth. Cliched lyrics, annoying vocals. Talentless, soulless schlock.

-
mewtwo62Feb 7, 2008There is absolutely no favoritism in this album. you'll definitely find yourself listening to the whole CD straight and skipping absolutely NOTHING. this is a must buy for new time and old time MCR fans. what the hell, this is a must buy for every single alternative rock fan on the planet! three cheers for the black parade!

HeatherC.Dec 21, 2007Not emo at all. With things like, "I am not afraid to keep on living" it is a message of hope. Sure they are... not so good live, but the message and the album is solid. Only reason why it's not a 10 is since I could live without ever hearing mama again. ugh. if they only put out that killer b-side "Kill all your friends" (pun intended).

-
JohnDec 14, 2007I love this album! There is such a range in this as each song is very different from the other. Every song is great and most are memorable. One of my favorite albums, and one of the rare ones where I find every single song great. It rocks!
-
-
JenDec 3, 2007The first thing I thought of when I finished listening to this album was, so this is what Marilyn Manson would sound like if he was playing at the mall. Sure, there are some catchy tunes here. And these guys aren't all whiny like most of the bands adolescent boys are into these days, they actually have a bit of a sense of humor and fun. But they are most certainly Manson-lite.
-
-
GuyHumourNov 16, 2007MCR are the worlds best band using volume speed and great instruments, they've created a great generation of music!
-
-
MikeT.Nov 14, 2007The first four tracks are for the fans who wanted more "Three Cheers", but the rest is pure unadulterated rock in an entirely new, entirely impressive vein. Take it from someone who hated MCR prior to "The Black Parade" -- this is their best effort to date, and one of the best albums in recent memory.
-
-
AlexW.Oct 14, 2007This album was an assault on my ears. No musicality or talent beyond working an overwrought 'emo' image that is slowly but surely falling out of favour.
