Travis remain curiously unrevered, but 10 Songs is fine work nonetheless. [Nov 2020, p.86]

After 2016's robust but scattered Everything at Once, the focused 10 Songs is a welcome return to their early style and one of the strongest statements in their catalog.

Healy's songs have always been suffused with nostalgia; now, far removed from those innocent days, the poignant pull is overwhelming. [Nov 2020, p.37]

10 Songs delivers exactly what you’d expect from Travis after a quarter century of proven Britpop prowess.

The very fact that this record is called 10 Songs sums the band up. It's the new Travis album. It's got ten songs on it. Fortunately, most of them are great.

Travis is to be commended for keeping the faith and coming up with another batch of quality songs that, if not their best stuff, isn’t far from it. But like the album’s unimaginative title, there’s little that pushes any of the band’s established boundaries into new and fresh sonic areas.
  7. In standing mostly still, Travis have found contemporary eddies swirling around them.
