    Like all of her previous albums, 30 is an artistic memoir of Adele in her life journey. However, after 6 years of waiting, her life story right now seems no longer aligned with everyone’s. The theme “divorce” here may well be only for ones who would like to find a corner to sit down, and heal.

    Thus, it would be a lame comparison to set 30, 25, 21, 19 in a family because 30 is clearly an outlier. This is a time when she finally transforms from a blockbuster maker into a creator of a whole new world.

    The arrangement of this album is apparent. Everything starts with an invitation of strange, something old, and something hurts. “Strangers by nature” is weird and pleasant at the same time, as if Adele opens the door to welcome our curiosity. The cinematic vibe is her main theme of this album, and it is revealed at the very first note without any hesitation. “Easy on me” is her old classic warm tea to comfort those who feels strange of whatever coming up next. The bravest moment goes to “My little love”, when she lets her most private sharing of her love and wound naked to the world. “I’m so far gone and you're the only one who can save me.” Not many people who can appreciate this sacred moment. But that doesn’t take any value from this precious song.

    The next part is a dynamic time for bass and drum. The 3 songs might get offended those who are thirsty for Adele’s “old good days”. “Cry your heart out” is a big lie where her senses of humour and big wide laugh shines over the anticipated sadness and tears. “Oh my god” fully lives as its name. But “Can I get it” deserves the spot line because it introduces many layers of surprises.

    “I drink wine” perfectly fits it own role of opening the bridging part of the album. With “Easy on me”, they are the only 2 songs that relates the most to the classic Adele. If “Chasing Pavement”, “Someone like you” and “Hello” leave at least one memorable and iconic lines, “I drink wine” is pouring them in the whole lyrics. Well-appraised should also goes to her conveyance, for the first time ever, we could enjoy the grace of drinking when we are wide awake.

    The bridging part continues with the two chilling songs: “All night parking”, and “Women like me”. If there should be a flaw of them, it should be the length. We can linger those two for the whole night, and I’m not kidding at all.

    The treasure for those who are able to embrace belongs to the next two songs. “Hold on” is a kind hand for anyone who is stuck in in the dark and see no hope of light around, while “To be loved” offers the big room enough for Adele to fully spread her wings and expose her beautiful gift as a true vocalist.

    The whole album ends with “Love is the game”, her best ending so far. It is the scene where the audience would like to linger the moment and come back to this movie sometimes again.

    Of course, it is too soon giving any prejudice about the this album. Music is to feel with an open heart and fits only to those who is in need. With 30, Adele has nicely completed her new story. It doesn’t matter if this is another blockbuster or all-kill awards as what she’s already done, or even a disappointed for different expectations. This is truly beautiful and truly a warm corner for those like me to sit down and enjoy.

    This album is literally perfect. After my first listen I had mixed feelings, but I swear to god the songs grow on you so much. My favourite tracks were probably To Be Loved, Oh My God, and Love Is A Game, but you can't really go wrong with any of them. She started this album three years ago in 2019 and it shows.     30 is a very personal album and the way Adele takes you with her in her journey is marvelous. Her story telling is second to none and the writing is still impactful than ever. Adele's vocals are strong as at any point in her career and she takes risk in this album that are more than welcome and she does it wonderfully. Easily, album of the year.

    By far the best album released this decade thus far, and perhaps Adele's best work to date. Compelling and poignant lyricism, rich instrumentation, and incredible vocals throughout. Adele explores a wide range of themes and sounds in this album, to such an extent that its hour-long duration flies by and you find yourself pressing repeat faster than you realize.

    She explores, and experiments in this album, and anyone saying she hasn't changed her style and genre hasn't paid attention to the album as she goes from pop, near-country, R&B influence to Jazz, Soul, Blue-eyed soul, and what not.
    The album sounds like a literal movie, as you can feel the change as she introduces her story, and talks about her divorce in the lead single, followed how it affected her child and how she wanted forgiveness from him for the divorce, gradually to crying all night, but then gathering the courage to date again, only to be met by someone who doesn't appreciate her enough.

    In the last three songs of the album, 'Hold On', 'To Be Loved', and 'Love Is A Game', Adele created perhaps the most legendary trio in all of music history.
    Hold On is literally about holding on, about accepting your miserable position in life but then knowing that great things are still to come. To Be Loved is perhaps the best vocal performance from any artist in a long, long time. To Be Loved is an absolute masterpiece that can tear up the hardest of people. Love Is A Game, a cinematic, orchestral, outro to an album is a cushioning on the emotional effects of To Be Loved, but is in itself, an extremely beautiful outro, perhaps the best outro, as its intro, in recent music history.

    30, as an album, is not just that, an album, but also a phenomenon, a whole movie causing a myriad of emotions inside you. Adele has never sounded better, and though it's her Divorce Album, and it will surely be followed by a happy album, 30 is, frankly, in all its senses, magnificent.    … Expand

Hoje digo sem preocupação que esse é seu melhor disco, a maturidade que ela nos mostra ao longo do álbum é linda de se ver, composições tão cruas que fazem qualquer um se identificar, é justamente isso que mais valorizo nela.     This album deserves way more recognition, IT IS NOT JUST ABOUT BEING DIVORCED. It's about self-reflecting, life acceptance, free will, growing maturity, and forgiveness. I'd say that this album is her best album. The sorting of the tracks in this album is so well-thought and Adele really made a good job by making "Strangers By Nature" as the starting track and "Love Is A Game" as theThis album deserves way more recognition, IT IS NOT JUST ABOUT BEING DIVORCED.     I don't know if it's her best album to date, but it is brilliant and definitely much better than 25, too bad my favorite track "wild wild west", is not included in the main version of the album.

My personal favorites are Cry Your Heart Out, Woman Like Me, All Night Parking, I Drink Wine and Love Is A Game. That being said, there is not one song that is a skip for me. To Be Loved, the 2nd toAdele's 30 is her most diverse, mature and her best record to date. Adele takes more risks sonically with this album than she did on any of her previous records, and most of them pay off. My personal favorites are Cry Your Heart Out, Woman Like Me, All Night Parking, I Drink Wine and Love Is A Game. That being said, there is not one song that is a skip for me. To Be Loved, the 2nd to last song on the album is an absolute masterpiece. But It's worth to wait for 6 years to see her growing up in music. She experienced by using new elements in this album. Prepare a cup of wine and play this album and You will feel it.

    Adele is simply one of those artists who can disappear for years on end, and when she comes back, it’s as if she never left. I’ve given this album multiple listens for a month now, and I love it. Her sound is so experimental on this album, with tracks like “Strangers By Nature”, “Oh My God”, “Can I Get It”, “Late Nigh Parking” and “Cry Your Heart Out”. These songs were so different forAdele is simply one of those artists who can disappear for years on end, and when she comes back, it’s as if she never left. I’ve given this album multiple listens for a month now, and I love it. Her sound is so experimental on this album, with tracks like “Strangers By Nature”, “Oh My God”, “Can I Get It”, “Late Nigh Parking” and “Cry Your Heart Out”. These songs were so different for her, and in the best sort of way. They reminded me of Lo-Fi music that’s been very popular recently.

    The melodies of these songs are irresistibly catchy, and one month later, I still find myself enjoying them. The only criticism I would say is that some of the tracks are far too long. I know it’s in true Adele fashion to write ballads, but it can be difficult at times to get that urge to replay a song that’s 5 or 6 minutes long.

    Not all of the tracks are “easy” to listen to, and the melody and lyrics of them can sometimes get lost in such a long track. For example, the ending to “I Drink Wine” is confusing and ruins such a lovely song. The voice recording of herself gives no real context to what she’s talking about, and is again, too long.

    So what I mean is, is that the songs can start to wander away from the original point and sort of drag on. However, “Love Is A Game” gets it perfect, and it’s a ballad I will listen to forever. Overall this was a gorgeous album, and I hope Adele will creafe many more to come.    … Expand

    I never heard any Adele's albums fully before until 30 dropped. This album is feeling of when I was at the late night show with romanticize dinner and this album is perfectly fit with the whole vibes. This album also showcase Adele's versatility with more jazz, pop (but not like she did before with such as pop ballad songs) and a little bit trap sound.     Despite her albums being snapshots, sometimes a little more diversity in subject matter would be a good thing. Ultimately, while some intriguing risks have been taken, 30 is probably the weakest, as well as conversely the most intimate and in many ways bravest, Adele album to date.
