Listening for the first time I liked it too, much more so than I imagined, because although good, the first two sounds not thrilled me so much. Overall has the identity of the band, especially after In Rainbows. I think Amok and Tomorrow's Modern Boxes were important to the Thom decide the path that would take this record. Thank you, Thom.

After TKOL, Radiohead seems to have gone back to their old selves, with songs that resemble OK Computer, Kid A, and In Rainbows. This is probably one of the most sophisticated albums they've made standing right next to Kid A and In Rainbows. It's consistent, explosive, still, and haunting. It subdues the body while it calms the mind. It's an album completely summed up in moments, very real moments, that take your breath away.

It's good. It's really good. It's more than pretty good. That's why I said it was really good. If you ask me how good it is I would say really good. I'd say that since it is really good. And I do say that.

It's the natural evolution of the band sounds, even if they have abandoned the heavily distorted guitars they are still there somewhere in the mix adding more layers to the sometimes ethereal, sometimes weirdly groovy synthesizers, plus a prominent string section and Yorke's usual wail. This is a great album that hold his ground compared to others like Amnesiac or In Rainbows.

A Jonny Greenwood solo album with Thom Yorke's voice, or a Thom Yorke solo work with Greenwood's arrangements. It even sounds like a post rock album in many parts, with some songs have a little more than a demo development. It doesn't have the challenging quality we're used to when it comes to Radiohead. The most remarkable thing are the amazing orchestral arrangements. It has some good moments, like True Love Waits, Glass Eyes and The Numbers But overall it's boring and it seems to me that Radiohead, as a band, are splitted into a duet plus three other session/ live musicians. 4/10 Expand

Strong melodies, catchy percussion, vibrant strings - an album Radiohead should be proud of. Great to hear some guitar again, and the way Thom uses his voice is fresh as ever.

LP9 also known as A Moon Shaped Pool completely blew me away.

It's feels weird saying this since I am the person who reads all the possible information about Radiohead and I was well prepared for all the weirdness that comes along with the release of their new records. I was also fully aware that it will be something different, as always. This album is an emotional roller coaster

This album is an emotional roller coaster filled with a big variety of different instruments and some of the most beautiful and clever songwriting you could ever imagine. I feel like the songs here are very approachable for new listeners as well, unlike TKOL. It all just sounds so fresh and clean.

I don't even feel like going further in to the details. It simply feels surreal to listen the best album of a decade for the first time. AMSP is everything that I wanted as a fan, and so much more!

Far far more superior than The King of Limbs, this feels like In Rainbows and Kid A had a kid and the result is a beautiful and moody album that has just the right amount of everything that Radiohead is known for, this album exceeds expectations and you won't be disappointed

Does Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood even know what they're doing anymore? This Album is degrading towards its fans and to those who'll accidentally have it shuffled and disjointed way deep into the full discography of Radiohead. Zero stars. Zero points. Two thumbs down. Rotten score. Rotten album.

A Moon Shaped Pool is easily one of the best albums that Radiohead has released to date. The heavy use of string instrumentation elevates the piece while still keeping it accessible to newcomers. "Decks Dark" and "The Numbers" are particularly astonishing and the closing track plays a fitting homage to long time fans. Great album!

Maybe the best surprise of the disco is the studio version of some live favourites like "True Love Waits" which received a contemporary and tech version. Best album since OK Computer. (Review in portuguese)
