Talvez sim. Mas nenhuma boate fecha tão cedo!

WOW Mabel delivered an amazing album full of dance bops, made during the quarantine. This is definitely a step up from her debut "High Expectations" and it's worth listening.

I have eagerly awaited Mabel's return. High Expectations was a debut with lots of danceable songs, and About Last Night... established her as a club banger songwriter. It's very spirited, but also narrative. There's a whole story about a girl who goes out with her friends to the discotheque and ends up crying when she sees her ex with someone else. As I was listening piece by piece, II have eagerly awaited Mabel's return. There's a whole story about a girl who goes out with her friends to the discotheque and ends up crying when she sees her ex with someone else. As I was listening piece by piece, I could only think of a Saturday Night Fever remake, but with house music instead of disco. Mabel has made the perfect album for such an occasion, or to be the cousin of Future Notalgia, Dua Lipa's second album. Perhaps, it would have turned out a little better if our girl had invited more ladies to clean up what little remains of worthy pop in the industry: Zara Larsson, Lizzo, Astrid S, among others dedicated to the gays' satisfaction. And I am satisfied.

fav tracks: "Let Love Go", "Animal", "Shy", "Good Luck" & "LOL"

Even if she is late to the trend of doing disco music and using elements from 80s music (according to some people), this album is still really good. If you love fun dance pop music, without caring about deep lyrics or a great amount of originality, you will love this. A (career) highlight on this album is, of course, "Animal", which should become a single. A much better album than the previous one and unfortunately more underrated. The vocals are much better, the production is excellent.

AMAZING. Mabel serves vocals, power and emotion through the lyrics of these tracks which are heavily disco inspired and this helps to build the club/disco fantasy. While being a relatively simple concept, it works well cohesively and follows a clear path and story but still keeps as an unapologetic fun pop album without being too tryhard.

This album is very energetic and it has a great mix of disco-pop tracks. Mabel uses great vocals for storytelling how it feels in a club. how we can go from feeling so good to feeling so bad. album of the year material for sure! I really hope to see this nominated at the BRITs.

The whole album is very good but from the interlude ''Take Your Name'' the album goes to another level, my favorite songs are on the second part of the disc.

About last night is a dancefloor guide meant especially for broken hearts. Mabel put much empowerment in every track, with catchy beats and confidence-boosting lyrics, however with very simmilar production which gets boring while listening to the whole album. She tried very hard to make About last night different and better than her debut High Expectations, but sadly she didn't menage to do so.

The album rallies later on, as I Love Your Girl and When The Party’s Over are impeccable tunes that more than deserve their place, but Mabel’s dedication to the pure pop that gave her big hits in 2019-20 is now threatening to leave her somewhat faceless.

Overall, About Last Night… manages to keep the party going – it’s just more convincing when tears mix with the prosecco.

Mabel also retains the tender, thoughtful quality that infused her debut album High Expectations (2019), and this makes for an impressively nuanced flow.
