Jun 10, 2017The rhythm is catchy and the lyrics heartfelt. Brother Ali has some personal stories that he tells on this album, like traveling to Iran and getting detained at the airport coming back ("Uncle Usi Taught Me"), and childhood memories of trying to fit in. A lot of positivity went into the production, and it flows nicely into your ear.

May 12, 2017Brother Ali embraces and upholds all the beauty in this whole life in his album of the same name. It is not drastically new or different for the Rhymesayer, but the heart therein is immense.

May 23, 2017With All the Beauty in This Whole Life, he created not just an album that represents an arranged amalgamation of his own experiences, but also a hip-hop album with so much soul that Rakim would blush.

May 17, 2017Urgent and impactful as always, his heartfelt music succeeds at balancing out traditional drum programming with original music composition.

May 12, 2017Ali returns with All the Beauty in This Whole Life, a record that never shies away from facing injustice but focuses on a different aspect of activism: inner transformation. That's not a new age slogan but ancient wisdom carried from Tao to Gandhi to MLK; Ali brings it down the pipe with the hammer of compassion.
