Ultimately, Starsailor have been around long enough to earn veteran rocker status and All This Life, with its perfect balance of emotional gravitas and buoyant lyricism, is an album worthy of that status.

All This Life is the most complete Starsailor album yet. On so many levels, it feels like they’ve kicked aside their shoes and decided to simply be whatever they wanted to be, practicing what they preach when they suggest the point at which nothing’s impossible.

All This Life won’t win any album of the year awards, nor will it garner much critical praise, but how good it actually is comes as a surprise. It’s all too easy to knock the likes of Starsailor, but with the new album largely reflecting the sound of a rejuvenated band, let’s not write them off just yet.

An often winning fusion of power-pop, electronics and blue-eyed soul. [Nov 2017, p.103]

A band that doesn't get much exposure, but keeps coming back with a better album that the previous. All this Life is no exception. AlmostA band that doesn't get much exposure, but keeps coming back with a better album that the previous. All this Life is no exception. Almost every song hits and the lyrical quality of these songs can't be beat. It is more than the loneliness of Silence is Easy and Love is here and experiments with their formula in ways that pay off with a even mix of what is Starsailor and what is a new and rejuvenated version of the band.
