    The sampling is briliiant and so is the all round production. A really good one.

    "Altid sammen" is really good. The music is both beautiful, melancholic, longing and hopeful. The lyrics are both directly interesting and leave a lot of room for individual interpretation.

    Altid Sammen is an excellent album from a frequently under-appreciated band (particularly by US critics). Not understanding Danish should not put the listener off as the music itself effectively conveys the same mixture of melancholy and hope as the lyrics. (Also: The lyrics are translated in the liner notes). The closing track "Hold mine hænder" is the standout leaving the listener wanting more.

    I really like the early work of the group. Their latest albums were very experimental. If I remember correctly, the group announced a breakup or took a long break. What do we have in the end. It seems that the group decided to return to the roots. Even the album's cover recalls their best work magic chairs (in my opinion)

    But even for me, for a person who likes to listen to eternal depression and cry (Sigur Ros), the songs seemed too tearful. Still, electronic sounds and liveliness of sound are sorely lacking.    … Expand

    You might not revisit this record often, but when you want to step back and step out Altid Sammen in its quiet contemplation will be the record to open up new avenues and expose what it was you were searching for.
