Jan 22, 2021This feels so sacred. The record is a return to form for the veteran experimentalist. Peak production and vague songwriting add to the apbums harms. He creates another worod that feeos cold and isolated. Forever going to be a favourite. Favorites:Dawn Chorus, Twist,Around the drain.

Sep 18, 2020Thom’s best solo project till date, obviously. And even though it’s totally different project, I’m still not sure if Thom’s able to put out something really great and memorable without the band behind his back. It seems like he’s slowly getting there on this one. ANIMA is a solid electronic record. 6-7p.

Feb 6, 2020This album is a 10.0. I’d say it occupies 25% of my music listening. The other 75% by Kid A, In Rainbows, and Doolittle lol.

Aug 27, 2019Thom’s best, definitely. It’s got the melody of The Eraser, the electronic textures of TMB, and the danceable grooves of AMOK. Must be listened to as a full album - it flows beautifully, reminding me of The Dark Side Of The Moon. It may even flow better than any Radiohead album.

Jul 27, 2019i think it's gonna be my favourite album of 2019. In my opinion his best work. Left me speechless with goosebumps.

Jul 16, 2019Well done Thom, you did it again. Second best solo album after The Eraser. Way more intriguing than Tomorrow's Modern Boxes. Best songs Not the News, Dawn Chorus, Impossible Knots, The Axe.

Jul 11, 2019This album ambushes emotions and trauma you either forgot about or tried to bury.
-
Jul 7, 2019ANIMA is minimal. Mellifluousness is in the club, possessing. No need to rush.
-
Jul 6, 2019Thom Yorke's best album yet. Commenting on the ongoing dystopia and failure of technology to connect us.
-
Jul 6, 2019Immersive, edgy, paranoid, funny, melancholic. Still manages to stay fresh.
-
Jul 3, 2019Wow the fan boys are out in force huh? Sorry, but this is terrible. This is just a guy fiddling around with a laptop making dull noises. You lost me Thom. Get back to radiohead you cock eyed psychopath

Jul 2, 2019Es una clara evolución del sonido que Thom y Nigel han estado buscando , mi disco favorito de Thom.

Jun 29, 2019This is significant better than 'Tomorrow's modern boxes' and every bit as good as 'The Eraser.'

-
Jun 29, 2019Thom’s greatest solo effort by a long way. It doesn’t feel like Radiohead B-sides as Yorke’s other albums (except Suspiria) have tended to sound like.
-
Jun 28, 2019I can not get out of that ! I drowned in it ! A masterful electronic orchestra !

Jun 27, 2019Very bad album. Couldn't bear hearing it completely. Maybe this is just not my cup of tea.
-
Jun 27, 2019Outstanding work. Feels like his stuff is coming out organically and is getting more interesting to boot.
-
Jun 27, 2019Perfect. This feels like the most developed and full-sounding of Yorke’s albums. He’s done it again!
-
Jun 27, 2019PTA + Thom Yorke = An Audiovisual Feast!
Although its exploration of the dystopian societies is nothing new, ANIMA is a fairly entertaining, and occasionally disturbing, hypnotic treat for the senses.

Aug 8, 2019Sans-visual accompaniment the album can feel meandering and unfocused. Fortunately, the experimental production and dark atmosphere are compelling in their own right, and ‘Anima’ is ultimately a trip down the rabbit hole worth taking.
-
Aug 5, 2019Anima seems by some distance to be Yorke's strongest solo work, and its musical content is oddly and paradoxically invigorating, in contrast to its persistently anomic lyrics. This dynamic is a key component of what makes the album succeed.

MojoJul 23, 2019Anima is his third solo album, outside of soundtracks, and it's his richest. [Sep 2019, p.87]
