    Foram mais de três longos e esperados anos para que então, escutássemos o ANTI. A sua sonoridade, à primeira vista, chocou o mundo por ser totalmente diferente das que ela era acostumada fazer. Sonoridade essa, que deve ser elogiada, por ser algo, como ela disse em entrevistas "atemporal", dando destaque à sua voz, que está impecável, diga-se de passagem. Rihanna gosta de brincar com osForam mais de três longos e esperados anos para que então, escutássemos o ANTI. A sua sonoridade, à primeira vista, chocou o mundo por ser totalmente diferente das que ela era acostumada fazer. Sonoridade essa, que deve ser elogiada, por ser algo, como ela disse em entrevistas "atemporal", dando destaque à sua voz, que está impecável, diga-se de passagem. Rihanna gosta de brincar com os estilos, mescla o R&B com Blues, Indie, Pop e Rap, a harmonia impregnada neste álbum, pode ser comparada a álbuns de Whitney Houston. Enfim, Anti não é só um álbum, ele é uma arte que ficará marcada na história da indústria da música.… Expand

    Precisamos agradecer a Rihanna por fazer o melhor álbum deste século! Tudo sobre ele é clássico, bonito, poderoso, com alma, eterno, ouro, sem fôlego, icônico e merece o melhor de tudo. Com esta obra-prima Rih mostrou que ela é definitivamente a RAINHA!

    Rihanna não poderia ter feito um álbum melhor! As músicas estão maduras, os vocais impressionantes e limpíssimos e a evolução absurda. Ela realmente conseguiu mudar o pop e deixa-lo em outro nível. Será difícil pra alguma cantora do cenário atual, tais como Katy Perry, Britney Spears, Beyoncé e Lady Gaga chegarem a esse nível.     Rihanna's voice is calming and sultry throughout. ANTi showcases her maturity and I think may be her best work to date. I've listened to the album without skipping any tracks. It's been on repeat It's just so cohesive and captivating. I love "Kiss It Better", "Same Ol' Mistakes", "Work", "Consideration"....just everything! Rihanna is in her own league. Amazing album!

That being said, the album is held together by a series of brief interludes among the full-length songs. The highlight of the album is the blissful 'Kiss It Better', no doubt the best contender for the next single. Another stand out track is 'Love On The Brain' a 50's style ballad where Rihanna's voice soars to places never heard before. Album opener 'Consideration' which features SZA is a confident kiss-off to possibly and ex but mostly likely the music industry/media. Other album highlights include: 'Same Ol' Mistakes', 'Never Ending', and 'Desperado'. The lowest point of the album is without a doubt the auto-tune laced, Travis Scott/The Weeknd produced, 'Woo'. Without this track, the album would flow much better but there're enough great songs on the record that this lack-luster let down can be ignored.… Expand

    ANTI is so fresh and beautiful. It can be as aggressive as gentle. Rihanna really outdid herself and she deserves to be recognized as a true artist... She co-wrote all the songs (except for the cover) so thats really good for her, she's growing as an artist and I think this one is her best album and her masterpiece. Congratulations Riri, we were expecting this from you

    Totalmente inesperado e diferente de tudo que Rihanna já fez. Conceitual, boas batidas, boas construções harmonicas. Valeu bastante esperar por esse tempo para ouvir um álbum com tamanha qualidade como musicas como Kiss It Better, Love on the Brain e Higher. Rihanna terá que lutar agora, mais do que nunca para se superar cada vez mais.

    I like that Rihanna chose to experiment and go a little ways out of her comfort zone with some of the sounds on ANTI and for that alone I'll say this is one of my favorite albums by her. Not sure this album lived up to the extended hype but it definitely has replay value.

Mas em compensação tem outras que soam como um grito de protesto como Consideration e a irreverente James Joint. Acho que é um bom álbum, apesar de realmente não ateder o que se chama de arte para os abastados da industria e da critica.     Rihanna ousou de uma forma não vista desde Rated R,voltando as suas origens, de certa forma lembra Good Girl Gone Bad, aqui vemos músicas mais calmas, com mais R&B e menos Pop, trazendo faixas incríveis como Love On The Brain, Kiss It Better e Close To You.Destaque também para Higher onde demonstra um vocal forte e diferente dos usados em suas músicas.

    This is hands down Rihannas best album, with rated r coming in second. It's a cohesive body of work. As to it vocally, lyrically and production wise IT'S A MASTERPIECE. It's exactly what she said it would be, soulful & agreesive and I love it!!! GREAT JOB RIHANNA ANTI IS PERFECT!!!!!

Desde Rated R no nos había llegado una pieza tan pura y tan personal de ella, alejada completamente de ese estilo 'radiofriendly' que todos esperaban. Es una pena que BBHMM y AO no aparezcan en el disco, pero también es un acto a elogiar ya que todas las pistas que nos ha presentado han sido exclusivamenteHa sido, es, y será uno de los mejores álbumes de Rihanna que podremos recordar.     La evolución vocal de Rihanna en ANTi es palpable y lo podemos comprobar en temas como "Consideration", "Higher" o "Love On The Brain" entre otros. Needed Me es quizás ese sencillo que todos esperaban junto a Kiss It Better, dos temas que hacen aún más grande a este esperadísimo trabajo. James Joint es ese interludio que da vida a la versión estándar y que nadie entiende el motivo de colocarlo en la posición dos del disco. "Nada es lo que parece" - ya lo decía Rihanna en su ANTIdiaRy. Work es un intento minimalista de atrapar a las masas repitiendo el fenómeno "Hotline Bling" y espero que sean audaces. Hotline Bling no triunfó por el tema en sí, sino por un inesperado videoclip que "hizo gracia". Sin duda, lo que no dejó indiferente a nadie fue el hecho de incluir una cover exacta de Tame Impala en el disco. Es un hecho muy arriesgado, pero a la vez es mágico. Ha conseguido ser fiel a la original, y a su vez llevarla a su terreno. Impresionante. De la versión Deluxe, se ha visto que temas como "Sex With Me" han cautivado a muchas personas y ha logrado llegar al top 50 de iTunes en algunos países sin ser promocionada ni single principal. También se incluye en esta versión la aclamada "Goodnight Gotham" que va a ser muy probablemente la intro de su gira mundial. Casi que afirmo esto porque ya fue usada en su concierto de Rock in Rio y funcionó bastante bien.

    ANTI es el título del disco y también es la era más #ANTI que también recuerdo. Sin incluir las tres canciones que fue lanzando el año pasado. Un productor que iba despreocupándose hasta que Rihanna tuvo que ponerse al mando para sacar adelante el disco. Una promoción que avanzaba al principio con regularidad y después de forma muy caótica, y es que #ANTIdiaRy ha sido a veces más un sufrimiento que una ayuda para hacer más amena la espera del disco. Una filtración en la que se rumorea de todo, que si ha sido una estrategia de marketing, que si ha eso el mayor error de TIDAL, y un largo etcétera que no merece la pena nombrar. Lo que sí fue estratégico y a la vez tremendamente #ANTI es el hecho de que Samsung regalase 1 millón de copias a todo aquel que quisiera descargarlo. Por mucha crítica que reciba Rihanna con este platino, solo puedo decir: GRACIAS. Ojalá muchas popstars regalasen al menos uno de sus singles a sus fans, y no un disco entero.

    En definitiva, puede que yo haya disfrutado de este trabajo más que otros, pero sin duda, os animo a escucharlo. Hay piezas realmente memorables y sin duda, podemos apreciar una evolución vocal y personal en este trabajo. Gracias Rihanna.    … Expand

    Truly fascinating and a real grower of an album. She's an ALBUM ARTIST now, no fillers at all. Transitions are really well done and highlights include; Kiss It Better, Love On The Brain, Desperado and Needed Me. Woo should've been trashed though.

    I'm absolutely blown away by the artistic direction that Rihanna has taken in her career. Her past few albums Talk That Talk and Unapologetic were great, but ANTi is game changing. I can't wait to see what else Rihanna has in store for us this era

    Anti, for me, was an amazing experience. I was waiting for this album for a long time and had no idea how it would be. I was afraid to not like it, because my expectations were too high. But all the waiting was rewarded and Rihanna gave us a true masterpiece. I love every song on this album, her vocals are killing me. Best album so far.

I've been listening to Rihannas music since pon de replay dropped and to see her right now making this magic on ANTI is just amazing.     Rihanna sounds like a singer, not like a "hit maker". Inovation's the word.... Her voice is so amazing that I couldn't believe. In songs like "Love on the Brain", "Desperado" and "Higher" she sings as a real music diva. Her best album, on my opinion. ANTI mark will really be permanent...

    Stunning album. My jaw dropped the first time I finished listening. This is by far Rihana's best album and that is already telling much since she has an amazing discography.

She's going as an artist and it's always interesting to see an artist go through the metamorphosis and grow. Truly proud of her, hope she gets the recognition she rightfully deserves for this record.

    I thought this was a good album. It was different for her! I wish it was more up tempo songs but the songs were very good! Highlight songs for me were James Join, Kiss It Better, Work, Desperado, Needed Me, Yeah, I Said It, Love On The Brain, Higher, Pose, and Sex with Me!

Rihanna didn't craft (for the first time, she was the executive producer on this album) a record that has just 2 songs that are single-material. The lyrics are good, and the production is just magnificent at some points: that guitar in "Kiss It Better", or that DJ Mustard beat inA couple of listens into ANTI, you can actually hear that it's her most experimental and honnest work to date. Rihanna didn't craft (for the first time, she was the executive producer on this album) a record that has just 2 songs that are single-material. The lyrics are good, and the production is just magnificent at some points: that guitar in "Kiss It Better", or that DJ Mustard beat in "Needed Me", let alone that "Same Ol' Mistakes" cover. Yet, there remains a lot of forgettable and filler dull tracks like "Desperado", "James Joint", and "Yeah, I Said It". Also, one major flaw is that she didn't make "Higher" longer, which would've been so great.

    Anti feels like an album that, compared to its predecessors, should be a surprising turn to something oddly and curiously good, and in many cases, yes, Anti generally is. But there are tracks here that feel that way only for the first minute or so, before falling into incomplete and slightly flat repetitively and lyrical contradiction. There's a nice variety on this album, from trap to R&B to dream pop to soul, and even a bit of jazz in certain places. As eclectic as Anti is, Rihanna pulls it off surprisingly well, and for the most part it flows along nicely. There are definitely some weaker tracks here and there, but overall I really do applaud her for changing things up.

    I respect this album because it truly defies what Rihanna has produced in the past (albums with each song formulated into a commercial, radio-ready hit). It is a move in the right direction for Rihanna. One thing that does take away from the album is that she does not participate in the writing. Some artists can get away with this, but somehow it just feels insincere coming from Rihanna.

It's not GGGB or Loud, but it's definitely in her top 5 best albums. Songs like James Joint, KissWoah. After only listening to the 2 worst songs on this album I really didn't like it because I was so in love with the dance-pop Rihanna we all know and fell in love with, but after listening to the pop/industrial influenced songs, I can proudly say that this is one of Rihanna's best albums. It's not GGGB or Loud, but it's definitely in her top 5 best albums.     Work was released a few days ago and i wasn't very impressed. then the bomb dropped. i downloaded the album (courtesy of rihanna herself dropping the album for free) and as soon as consequence started i was hooked. first of all no "pop hits" or "bangers" and i was glad. it's not that i don't like songs like rude boy or pour it up but i wanted something new from rihanna. i wanted something new and adventurous. holy **** did she bring it. its experimental in sound, jumping from one genre to the next and it works. nothing is fast paced and loud. its an album that you play and just chill in your room and absorb the sounds.

    the 3/4's of the album are definitely stronger than the last 1/4 but that doesn't take away from the last 1/4, they are good in their own way. rihanna definitely tried to "sing" more on this and for the most part she does a great job, with the exception of higher as it sounds like she is straining to get the notes out. i looked to my sister as we were listening to it and said "she's gonna have a hard time singing this live".

    all in all a fantastic album and by far rihanna's best effort. i would love for her to continue on this path (although thats probably not likely).

    I like it. Sounds modern. The vocals are very characteristic from Rihanna and the lyrics too. The songs are mixed emotions. I guees that not sound very concise in relation to genre but still think that is a greatest album by Rihanna because sounds mature and conceptual. My favorite songs are "Work" and "Love on the brain".

    My favorite album from Rated R, I sincerely believe that the long wait was worth it, this album is amazing. One of the best albums of the year. Good job Rihanna!

    Anti is, undoubtedly, Rihanna's best album so far. Not because she delivered "good" music, a.k.a. profitable, but because this is all her. Her persona is all over the tracks. As daring as Kanye's Yeezus and equally genius: an album with no fillers is what every artist should be aiming too. Perhaps not what we expected, but pure creativity.

    Legendary album! Definitely her best work so far. There are no songs that I think are bad on this record, Rihanna, once again has delivered a career-changing body of work. Make sure you buy this!

    Anti was a fantastic album! You can see how much she grew and how much his album means to her. Songs that stand out for me are 'love on the brain', 'higher'. 'kiss it better' and 'james joint'. I wish the last one was longer.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Anti representa um enorme passo na carreira de Rihanna, nesse novo disco, a cantora deixa florescer sua identidade musical através da sonoridade de seu domínio, o Urban.

    Apesar de ser um shock de sonoridade para aqueles que estavam acostumados com o seu EDM estonteante em álbuns anteriores, aqui a cantora nos deslumbra, conforme o tempo, com o incrível dancehall de suas raízes caribenhas na faixa "Work", já em faixas como "Consideration" e "Desperado" a cantora mostra todo o seu poder e agressividade com um flerte entre o Hip-Hop e R&B.

    Por outro lado a cantora revela seu lado emocional, mas também com o seu toque de Bad Girl em "Close To You" e "Love On The Brain", essa última uma faixa de Soul que soa diferente de tudo que a Hitmaker já havia feito antes é um dos pontos altos do álbum.

    O ápice do álbum está na faixa Needed Me na qual Rihanna exala sua essência de garota independente e dona de si mesma, quando a mesma canta You was just another **** on the hit list/Tryna fix your inner issues with a bad **** a mesma revela que sabe como alguns outros homens e a sociedade a enxergam e que essa auto-consciência à torna indiferente aos julgamentos, fazendo a mesma levar uma vida livre e conforme suas vontade, nos fazendo perceber que estamos jogando o jogo dela. Além disso, no momento mais direcionado ao Pop, temos a sua faixa "Kiss It Better", outro ponto para a cantora, aqui a influência de Prince é clara e faz com que a faixa se torne inesquecível, pelo menos no repertório dela.

    Os momentos mais vulneráveis estão nas faixa "Higher" e "Never Ending" que numa primeira audição podem parecer impolidas, mas essa músicas com uma sonoridade Soul e Folk, respectivamente, também são dramáticas e cativantes conforme você compreende o espírito do álbum e de Rihanna.

In her fragility, she finds her strength and that's why she constantly renewing herself as an artist, she surpasses herself and never stop surprising her fans and the audience in general for 11 years now. And God knows that not every artist can afford to surprise and generate as Rihanna do a sense of excitement through time.

    I love every song on the album. She's versatile as always. It's a personal album in which anybody, the young and the not so young, black, white, yellow, red, rainbow people could identify.
    Lyrics are powerful (Love On The Brain, Higher) meaningful and deep (Kiss It Better, Close To You) it's an album in which we can party and bullshhh (Work, Pose), where we can make love (Sex With Me, Yeah I said it, Same Ol Mistakes), in which we can get high (James Jones, Consideration), when you don't manage to sleep (Never Ending), to play after an hard day at work, or to celebrate the weekend (Desperado), useful when you're partner cheated on you (Needed Me, Woo), to play at funerals (Goodnight Gotham). Every song could help us to get better in life, to love life, to appreciate what we're doing, what we have, to enjoy moments we're sharing.

    As a conclusion, ANTi is an EXCELLENT, BRILLIANT, INTELLIGENT, SASSY, TIMELESS, INNOVATIVE, anyway a BEYOND PERFECT album in which each song deserves an award. Masterpiece now makes sense to me.

ANTI is definitely a "rare and priceless work of art" which finds Rihanna expressing her inner self better than ever before. Her cover of Tame Impala song "Same Ol' Mistakes" is better than the original one.

    Rihanna's best album to date. I'm a Navy since 2010, and she has improved so much vocaly, the album is excellent, the tracks are amazing (except Woo, she sounds like a goat ). Anyway , aoty 2016 for sure, better win Grammys next year or I'm suing
