    An awesome album. Ashlee has a lovely voice and her songs are so endearing and funky at the same time. If i could turn back time, i would still buy her album. A great buy!!! I love Ashlee Simpson.

    Well, all i have to say is that shes one of the BIGGEST posers in the music industry today.I hate how she "tries to be different" and how she thinks shes "punk". Shes just another "wanna-be". HAHA. Her idols are Alanis Morrissette..Joan Jett...and Fiona Apple?! HAHA. I hate her guts and her music. Stop complaining, Ashlee, and get over yourself!kkthx

    Ashlee Simpson is just another cookie cutter made to be a pop star like so many before her. She can't sing to save her life. Although she is a beautiful girl her talent borders on little to none. Unlike Britney Spears she is also in serious need of dancing lessons.     She SUCKS big time!!!!!..she can't sing!!!..I hate her crappy voice...her music's a piece of trash..her music is terrible,,,.and her reality show makes me SICK!!!! WHATS WRONG WITH MUSIC THIS DAYS????!!!!!!

    Simply one of the greatest album of 2004!!! Ashlee is very talented and I hope she will release another album like that (or maybe more).... I can't wait to see her in Europe!!

    It seems that the votes are either love or hate her. I can say that over-all that CD is very good. I qualified it for my 8 year old daughter, who we took to Ashlee's concert. Everybody wants to get on the "She's such a fraud" because of SNL. But she was very good in concert, and made a small show big. My review on all the people who gave her a 0, is... show me your media... It seems that the votes are either love or hate her. I can say that over-all that CD is very good. Even if the music was written by someone else, the lyrics seem personal. Song writters don't always have to speak about real life, just enough to remind us of how distorted things can be.… Expand

    This album is really good, people who say she is bad need to turn up their hearing coz she is fantastic. My fav songs on the album are Autobiography and Lala

    It's not a great album, but it's not terrible. Many of the lyrics are slightly cliche, but not stupid as many people say. they are the reflections of a 19 year old girl, not a 50 year old musician who is looking back on his career. as for her using her sister's fame to gain her own, i don't see where that's coming from. she doesn't throw her sister's It's not a great album, but it's not terrible.     I really like this CD. I can enjoy listening to every track. However, I think this record is not a "wow" material. The record has gone platinum because of all the promotion from MTV. (I would not have bought this CD if it wasn't because of MTV) But Ashlee Simpson has exceeded my and many people's expectations. She did a very good job for a debut album. I'd recommend it to I really like this CD. I can enjoy listening to every track. However, I think this record is not a "wow" material.     No, I didn't buy this piece of crap album, there was no need to even second-guess Ashlee's potential after I heard the single that plagues the airways. But this is what I expect from teen-pop music, dull and lifeless. Seriously, what makes this album good? Lyrics? Yah, if the point is to mush out meaningless and witless rhymes. Or how about the music?     Ashlee Simpson's album rocks!!! i love all the songs on it and my fave song is pieces of me. its so cool i love it. When i get home from school i just put my sterio on full blast and listen to that song ova and ova !!!.I love the cd !!!!!!!!!!

    I love this album!!!!!!!!! I realllly hate when ppl give her bad reviews and say she sucks. She isnt the best performer but her songs are awesome. Her and her sister jessica should do an album together it would be great!!!!

    Shes a talenless fraud who got into the buisness only because of her older sister. Im not surprised that the media, for the most part, supports her. Theres enough people in this world who are blind/retarded enough to buy this garbage so the "industry" will make more money.

    She does not have a voice like her sister. She says she doesn't want to ride her sisters coat tails, but that is what she is doing. Her voice sucks and she would never had made it if it weren't for her sister!

    Ashlee Simpson sucks! She has NO talent and shes a complete FAKE!! She got caught being a fake piece of s*** singer on SNL then to top that off she got booed during the half time orange bowl!! I listened to that half time show and she sounds AWFUL!! She needs to be banned from the music business. ASHLEE SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!

But, I digress. "Autobiography" is entertaining and meaningful. Ashlee does not have the best voice, but is an intruiging and emotional vocalist.     i think she sucks. everything about her sucks. her looks, her music, her ways.. and her feet are ugly! did you see them? if you just saw her feet, you would think they were feet of a 80 year old woman. i dont know why people thinks she is so great. the only thing good about her is that she has big boobs.

    Reading the comments here I can't believe people are calling her talentless! Ashlee Simpson proves them wrong in her debut album 'Autobiography.' My favourite tracks are 'Shadow' and 'Autobiography' and I used to really dislike 'Lala' but it has grown on me.     Ashlee has...earthy vocals to say the least. She wants to be rock but to be fair is leaning slightly more to the pop genre. Her album is brim full of emotion and consistently in keeping with her own life 'trauma's' as all of her songs are near enough from her own life experiences. All in all a decent debut album from Ashlee and I would recommend it to most people who fall Ashlee has...earthy vocals to say the least. She wants to be rock but to be fair is leaning slightly more to the pop genre. Her album is brim full of emotion and consistently in keeping with her own life 'trauma's' as all of her songs are near enough from her own life experiences. All in all a decent debut album from Ashlee and I would recommend it to most people who fall into the rock/pop genre fans. Dont rate her on the SNL snaffu, she is a good artist who has done herself justice.… Expand
