Reliably pleasing band! They are both off the beaten path yet somehow instantly enjoyable. Great to have on in the background to take your mind off work, then all of a sudden a twist or turn you simply cannot ignore snaps you into focus. Glad they are still making music

    "It's enormous, it's imersive, it's amazing"

A spacious vibe album, so imersive, and it's quite not "boring" as people would judge.
It have the immersive extended and repetitive melodies tracks, but then it's breaked by the vocals and nicely melodies, bringing a rest for the listener, so we could enjoy the album without being so annoyed.

Shines true-to-form as a veritable adventure in atmospheric soundscapes with lush instrumentation and soaring vocals. A continuing triumph for the band.

The ride is smooth enough that you never quite feel the acceleration of the vehicle.

Moving at a satisfyingly glacial pace, The Besnard Lakes Are The Last Of The Great Thunderstorm Warnings is an album that reveals its rewards over multiple listens.

It’s an evocative thrill ride and a captivating rumination on mortality that also asks questions of life afterwards. It isn’t an easy listen but it’ll soon become something you’re drawn towards time and time again.
