Terrible album with ok beats and very very bad lyrics. I have no idea who this album is made for ! Skip this and save your hard earned money..............

Too much Of R.R leads to a watered down Mixtape. Stretching himself too thin? No inspiration in that it all sounds the same? I did like the Premo produced track and the one with Nas. But (although he enlists quality helps from Legend, Blige, etc, the songs arn't something for me at all. MMMMMMaybach Music. No, MMMMMayonaise music.

One thing people cant take away from Rick Ross is his ability to know a dope beat when he hears one. I found this album to be pretty strong: a) dope beats - check, B) better than average raps/lyrics - check, c) strong features (Nas, Mariah, MJB, etc) - Check. Most of the tracks are strong (free enterprise, one of us, color money, crocodile python) but there are a few clunkers (dope dickOne thing people cant take away from Rick Ross is his ability to know a dope beat when he hears one. If you ever liked Rick Ross, or had to urge to say UGH, you cant go wrong with this album, which I found better than his previous couple. Expand

Ross' eighth album, though, raises doubts about how he'll fare in the era of the confessional, emotionally bare rap superstar. The man who once boasted 10-car garages and uncollected favors from dictators is now trafficking in the same honesty that made Future a critical smash and J. Cole a commercial one.

His once winning formula now sounds wanly formulaic. [Feb 2016, p.112]

There's a great Rick Ross album in here somewhere. If only the boss had abstained from some of his extravagant habits and used his editing sheers more cuttingly.
