    Okay so.......STP and Chester Bennington don't even compare to this, they should just rename Stone Temple Pilots to Stone Temple Park. This album from Scott Weiland who is one of the best singers I have ever listened to has delivered a great performance on this album, of course some songs don't stick out , but a lot of the songs are catchy as crap, I would have to say this is one of theOkay so.......STP and Chester Bennington don't even compare to this, they should just rename Stone Temple Pilots to Stone Temple Park. This album from Scott Weiland who is one of the best singers I have ever listened to has delivered a great performance on this album, of course some songs don't stick out , but a lot of the songs are catchy as crap, I would have to say this is one of the best rock albums of the year so far.     Lack of inspiration, energy and intentions, Scott Weiland give us a weak album in which songs like “20th Century Boy”, "Parachutes" or “White Lightning” are the the most enjoyable ones.

    Blaster has some solid rock tunes within, and Weiland does a serviceable job throughout, but compared to his work in STP and VR, it lacks in replay value; this is because the melodies and musicianship do not innovate, and whilst there is nothing necessarily wrong with the vocals, they don't convey quite as much passion and energy; clearly he was going through a lot of personal turmoil:Blaster has some solid rock tunes within, and Weiland does a serviceable job throughout, but compared to his work in STP and VR, it lacks in replay value; this is because the melodies and musicianship do not innovate, and whilst there is nothing necessarily wrong with the vocals, they don't convey quite as much passion and energy; clearly he was going through a lot of personal turmoil: financial issues, drinking etc.… Expand

    Despite his heavy pedigree, the poppier songs are some of the best here, the only blot being an honourable but lacklustre run through 20th Century Boy.
