Dec 26, 2014In "Blue", iamamiwhoami explore different lands in electronic music. They have built a new crystallized atmosphere full of bright synths similar to M83 and Bjork. Jonna Lee and Claes Bjorkland point to a new way of making music, carrying the audiovisual language as part of their proposal. In "Blue" feel stronger and sharper than before.

Nov 12, 2014An album that has to be (as Lee says) "swallowed whole". The album as released digitally is a very good piece of work, but the CD version including the extended continuous tracks adds life to the whole BLUE saga, including drops of ambient and experimental flavour in a synth-pop bright icy album. Perfect piece of work, both musically and visually.

Jul 8, 2016This album is just a masterpiece. It's relaxing, fresh, cool, it makes me feel happy. I love going there walking listening to this, it makes me feel complete. The videos are amazing, too.
Favorite songs: Fountain, Hunting for Pearls, Vista, Blue Blue, Shadowshow.
I can't wait for them to release new music. -
Aug 14, 2017This album sounds very futuristic and has something that makes it way more different from Kin and bounty. Way better than the previous albums of the duo. BLUE stands as the strongest work from imamiwhoami

Nov 29, 2017Blue é simplesmente uma viagem espiritual, arte pura, perfeito em todos os sentidos. Jonna lee nunca falhou em seus tabalhos anteriores, e definitivamente, não foi diferente dessa vez.

Q MagazineDec 8, 2014Their songs retain a Scandinavian feel, at once exuberant and enigmatic on the soaring Fountain and cellophane-wrapped Vista, while pulsing, M83-like synth rush of Chasing Kites shows they've set their sights well beyond the Nordic margins. [Jan 2015, p.126]

MojoNov 19, 2014Her piercing, angelic voice, redolent of Tori Amos, is given a sparkling canvas by Claes Bjorklund's synth battery. [Dec 2014, p.96]

Nov 17, 2014It's a rare moment of intrigue on an album that's generous in its beauty while leaving little to wonder about, a sky that never rains.
