Gaga-Bennett'in ilk is birligi. Gaga'nin da kendi standartlarinin altinda kaldigi ARTPOP doneminin ardindan kendini yeniledigi album olmustu Cheek to Cheek. Little Monsters diye tabir edilen Gaga fanlarinin haricinde yeni insanlar da bu albumle beraber Gaga'yi dinlemeye baslamislardi.

The match between Bennett and Gaga winds up quite differently from the one between the master and k.d. lang in 2002. Those two created a more sober and mature affair. By contrast, the duets with Gaga give Bennett a whole new hold on youth.

This is a clear example of renewal, Lady Gaga accompanies the great artist Tony Bennett and they manage to release one of the best Jazz albums in 2014, the only detail is that we see Tony again with covers and not even Gaga managed to make this album really acclaimed, with very good lyrical and even winning a Grammy, the album is considered one of the worst of both artists

I cannot begin to say enough wonderful things about this album. First of all, Lady Gaga is a REVELATION. Her vocals are spot-on perfect, full of emotion and exquisite phrasing. Secondly. Tony Bennett's warm, weathered voice perfectly complements Gaga at every turn. Their chemistry is truly something special. Get the Grammys ready for "Cheek to Cheek!!" ; )

Just a flawless album for a flawless duet, When The Queen of Pop met The King of Jazz. So much emotions came in you when you listen this pure melodious album. Thanks Gaga to give us every kind of music.

Sorry, but Gaga sounds fake. Her part in Goody Goody is plain ridiculous. Nevertheless her voice is not all bad, I just wish she sounded more natural. Tony, well, he is past is prime, but better than the 60 years younger Gaga. He knows how to sing.
The songs... god, they have been sung over and over for the last... eight decades. Some interpretations are decent, but none shines. Maybe

All in all, some songs are listenable, some I'd say "nice" (a seven), but some are horrid! Specially Gaga solos... This could be a better album. "The Lady is a Tramp" (2011) sounds really better. More fluid and natural. What a waste.

Gaga has a good voice but i find her a bit desperate in her failed attempt appeal to a different audience. She might be flopping in pop but at least her music was kinda fun before.

Amazing album. Gaga is perfect. Her interpretation of "Ev'ry Time We Say Goodbye it's touching. And Madonna... You don't wanna hear. You don't want to know... But, sorry... You never record some tunes so fine in your whole career. Definetely, she is not you.

Ultimately, Cheek to Cheek is pleasant through and through. It’s not the greatest standards duets album ever recorded, but nor is it a dud.

Cheek to Cheek is a record where the music and even the songs take a backseat to the personalities.

Shallow, deeply unimaginative renditions [of standards out of the Great American Songbook].
