    To be honest, I didn't expect much from this album at all. I figured it was no more than Gaga's sideproject: but I am happy to say I've been proven otherwise! I love Lush Life, the energy on I Can't Give You Anything But Love, the band on Anything Goes and the live intensity on the iTunes bonus track "Bang Bang (He Shot Me Down)". Tony is a little boring so that's my only criticism. ButTo be honest, I didn't expect much from this album at all. I figured it was no more than Gaga's sideproject: but I am happy to say I've been proven otherwise! I love Lush Life, the energy on I Can't Give You Anything But Love, the band on Anything Goes and the live intensity on the iTunes bonus track "Bang Bang (He Shot Me Down)". Tony is a little boring so that's my only criticism. But Gaga easily makes up for it. Definitely going to be listening to this a lot through the holidays and years to come! A classic!

This album is good enough to attract to the young public with non sense of music, who only search for divas without talent. Of course, this is an album full of remakes that's why i don't qualify it with a 10.     Her vocals soar, they sound perfect together. She's very brave for taking a career detour like this, not often where a mainstream popstar will take a risk like this and expand into a new market. Go Gaga, Go Tony. Cant wait for the next album

    Lady Gaga innovative and powerful vocals, many thought she was finished but Cheek to Cheek proves otherwise. She' s got the voice, the artistry, the theatrics, the imagery, the fashion and most of all the chutzpah into the album that it feels like the album is alive and breathing.

    This is just a brilliant way to bring timeless classic music to the younger generation. Its teaching them about Jazz, and wow does Tony sing his heart out at 88. And Gaga really surprised me. She is so more talented than I knew. Her singing Jazz seems so natural, this was meant to be.

    This album shows why Gaga is above her contemporaries in the talent department. She doesn't need a big production camp to shine. Only her voice. With Tony, there is a true connection and it really shows on every single of the songs. "Ev'ry Time We Say Goodbye" and "Bang Bang" are my favorite solo Gaga tracks!

    I never thought I would like Jazz or even listen to it but like the blind I followed my Mama Monster. Im proud that Gaga does whatever she likes with her music and can shake off the haters. I have to say Im not head over heals about any song but wasnt ready to switch songs on a first listen like some of Gagas other albums.     What a wasted opportunity. Gaga can't relax enough to put her own spin on these standards. This project might have benefitted from the pair performing originals rather than these standards. It's so easy to cherry pick vastly superior versions of each of these songs by other artists. If the pair has written their own music together then Gaga might not have sounded like a off-key mimic.     Not feeling this at all and any positive reviews u hearing have to be from brainwashed culturally artistically and historically disinclined misinformed monsters and payola media outlets or people who love tony...this chick sounds like a cat being skinned alive!  She cones off as a fake contrived screaming mockingbird wannabe any winhouse nora jones or adele she cleary is not!

    Gaga has a good voice but i find her a bit desperate in her failed attempt appeal to a different audience. She might be flopping in pop but at least her music was kinda fun before.

    This album will be her biggest flop (commercial failure)..It's so bad. Save yourself and don't bother listening to it.

    Don't waste your time. Gaga is trying to be something she CLEARLY is not and it doesn't work in my opinion.

    The album drags on and on endlessly. The vocals are sub-par. Everything is bad, sorry.

    Her voice is horrible!!! i can't ,back to auto-tune gaga please. I hope Gaga don't continue in Jazz, because her voice is not for that. The over exaggeration of vocals, tony is not good too. I think was not good combination between gaga and tony.

    The match between Bennett and Gaga winds up quite differently from the one between the master and k.d. lang in 2002. Those two created a more sober and mature affair. By contrast, the duets with Gaga give Bennett a whole new hold on youth.

    This album was a definite shock. I am a usual jazz listener, and I am used to most of these standards. It was simply to listen to their renditions, which were all great. The album flew by quite quickly, but that being said, some tracks were needlessly too short. Other than that, it was great. Saddened to see many people are only focusing on Gaga (negatively) and not Tony or the music.

    I cannot begin to say enough wonderful things about this album. First of all, Lady Gaga is a REVELATION. Her vocals are spot-on perfect, full of emotion and exquisite phrasing. Secondly. Tony Bennett's warm, weathered voice perfectly complements Gaga at every turn. Their chemistry is truly something special. Get the Grammys ready for "Cheek to Cheek!!" ; )

I remember, some decades ago I owned a vinyl of Paul Horn "Inside the Great Pyramid" with beautiful flute music (he played flute in "Nature boy" shortly before his death), but in those days it was tooNever been a Jazz fan. This album is the first of this kind that I own. I bought it just because I love Lady Gaga. But now I find this album so beautiful! Never thought this would happen!     amazing! really shows her range as an artist! and Tony has still got it! together the balance each other out wonderfully. makes me love jazz, it is such a great album! highlights are definitely Firefly, Cheek to cheek, Anything goes, goody goody, I cant give you anything but love, it dont mean a thing and bang bang. The rest are also amazing, just a little bit more serious sounding

    I gave it a 9. There are a couple of songs that I don't think they quite work at first but listening to them a couple more times, they aren't that bad. Overall the album is really good. Gaga really shows her range and her talent. Tony Bennett is wonderful as usual.

    Probably, if not her best, one of the best albums Gaga will ever make. As a jazz/swing/show tune lover, I admit it was scintillating, with the vocals at the extremes and the orchestrations fitting the nail perfectly.

While Tony is not the jazz great Lady Gaga seems to think he is, his voice is well enough to be paired with hers over the course of 11 or so tracks and not wear out it's welcome.     "Cheek to Cheek" is definitely one of the best vocal albums that came out in 2014. Tony Bennett is amazing as always, Lady Gaga surely surprised some with her outstanding vocals! Would recommend for buying.

    This album is a complete Jazz masterpiece, Gaga's vocals are impressive, Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down) & Lush Life are my favorites, I loved the album till the end, Tony is an amazing talented person, he puts all of his talent and vocals on each song as Gaga, they both are an amazing partnership.

    Generally, I love this album and thanks to Tony who saved Gaga from depression. But there are only covers of old songs and we all now that Gaga wrote some jazz songs. So we are looking forward to next full Gaga's solo jazz release.

    You can say about Gaga what you want, but she always delivers. Together with Tony this album is such a masterpiece. Her vocal ability is insane.

    This is a clear example of renewal, Lady Gaga accompanies the great artist Tony Bennett and they manage to release one of the best Jazz albums in 2014, the only detail is that we see Tony again with covers and not even Gaga managed to make this album really acclaimed, with very good lyrical and even winning a Grammy, the album is considered one of the worst of both artists

    Un álbum muy tranquilizante, interesante y además es peculiar, el Jass siempre estuvo presente en la historia de la música y este álbum lo demuestra, es muy bueno sinceramente.

    Ese estilo de jazz, no es mi favorito. Hasta para hacer covers debes saber con quién hacerlos, Gaga tiene buena voz pero no sabe interpretar, sólo por que es de Tony Bennett, le tomaré con más puntaje.

The pair's solo efforts, particularly Gaga's clumsy interpretation of Billy Strayhorn's "Lush Life" and Bennett's surprisingly pitchy rendition of Duke Ellington's "Sophisticated Lady," only serve to spotlight theirGaga comes off more as a dilettante than an aficionado on «Cheek to Cheek»....
