With only 4 good songs, this album obviously isn't that great. Production wise it's great, and it's enjoyable if you just shut your mind off, but when you focus on it lyrically, it's just sad. I don't know if Logci is aware of his Filler bar problem, but maybe if he thought about it and legitemately tired to get rid of them, an album like this could've actually been what he advertised it as (UP meets BT). Just shorten the tracklist, stop repeating the chorus constantly and this album would be a 5 or a 6. Actually rewrite the songs to be half as lyrical as Lost in Translation, this would be a 8 or a 9. One of the laziest, uninspiring logic albums.

The album is just lazy really, lazy writing, lazy delivery. When a producer works harder than the rapper, you know somethings wrong. In fact the production is what saves this album from being complete trash. Some songs are just vibes like Wannabe, Clickbait, Out Of Sight, and Limitless. Which doesn't excuse the poor effort that went into

Then we have some pretty good tracks like Self Titled, Homicide, Mama/Show Love, Keanu Reeves (to an extent) and Lost In Translation. All of these are great tracks. Some i could see being on some of logics best albums like Homicide and Mama/Show Love on Bobby Tarantino and Lost In Translation on The Incredible True Story. Which really shows how great this album could've really been. He still had the potential, just couldn't be bothered unleashing it.

This album isn't HORRIBLE, but it's still pretty lackluster and disappointing. Not that my expectations were that high in the first place.

The best song on the album is Mama / Show Love. This track is great and single-handedly raised the album's score by at least a point. Logic rides the hell out of the instrumental, even through the beat switch. Cordae brings quite a bit to the table

Logic rides the hell out of the instrumental, even through the beat switch. Cordae brings quite a bit to the table as well in terms of flow and lyricism. Homicide is also a decent track. Not amazing, but it's a timeless classic compared to the other 80% of the album. It features Eminem, who outdoes Logic on everything except flow. Both complain about mumble rap, and while trying to act tough they both come off as a little corny. Limitless, Still Ballin, and the title track are okay too. Icy is, surprisingly, one of my favorite songs on the album. It's lazy, repetitive, and unfocused, but it's CONTAGIOUSLY catchy. The rest of the tracks are hot garbage, excluding the final one, which is good, I guess. If this album was just a little bit shorter and only included the better tracks, it would have a higher score. It's really affected by how long it is. Mind you, long albums are not always bad (Logic's 2nd album, legit almost Kendrick's entire discography), but when the songs are bad it makes the album just so much worse.

Damn this album sucks. Logic's lyrics are cringeworthy in every way. When he's rapping fast he's just blurting out nonsense, and when he's not, he's making some corny joke about his biracialness. Probably Logics worst project to date. COADM is a mess thats only redeeming quality is the production. With a combination of weak lyrics and a missing message, the only confessions that his dangerous mind is releasing is how badly he has fallen from grace. The title track to the album is the small sliver of quality music that logic still has.

Really disappointing as an album from Logic. A lot of the tracks on the album sound like Logic put zero effort into and this is easily his most uninspired and unambitious body of work. Handful of cringeworthy lines, I understand where he is coming from but doesn't he know how bad some of those lines sound? Yikes

    I love the songs.

I still don't get what people hate about the songs. They have such a good flow to them. Perhaps it's bots or trolls, but I can easily see the energy, vibe, and meaning behind his words. If you don't understand them, that's

If Logic ever sees this, I say: "Make your music strongly, brother. Your destination and journey are blessed. Express yourself via sounds as that is what true music is meant to be; that is what true art is meant to be. And I can confidently say that you rank with the best of them. Stay safe, brother."

Logic's latest release, "Confessions Of A Dangerous Mind", could very well make anybody who listened to the somewhat artful one-two punch of 2014's "Under Pressure" and 2015's "The Incredible True Story" wonder what the hell happened to Logic. Although the title track is the best song on the album, it isn't even that good.

"Homicide" sees Logic trying too hard, and it may be because Eminem arrived into the studio. "Wannabe" and "clickbait" are companion tracks, but they are distasteful. "Icy" is the terrible kind of catchy, with the lame "Cocaine" following. "Don't Be Afraid To Be Different" is perhaps the second best song on the record, but again, it is still not that great.

"Confessions..." is true evidence that Logic has truly embraced the "quantity over quality" mentality. It matters more to Logic to release two albums a year than to spend time crafting something that is artful in some shape or form.

One of Logic's worst albums. Lots of corny and filler bars. He set up a concept for the album and barely went into it. I'm even surprised that the features didn't do anything to help this project either, the only rappers that step their game up are Eminem and YBN Cordae. The rest is above average or mediocre at best. You got Wiz Khalifa appearance which is ok it's not anything great, Gucci Mane is well being Gucci Mane, Will Smith is doing the same bubble gum hip hop from his younger days, and then G-Eazy clams that he is comparing himself to Logic, that has to be the dumbest punchlines I have ever heard in my life. I mean if NF appeared on this track and he said that he's comparing himself to Logic, that would totally make sense because they can both rap there *** off. G-Eazy's verse is pretty dumb and generic at best. Some of the beats produced by 6ix are generic too on this album he makes the same beat over and over again, although there are some decent beats from 6ix. And the three songs, that are not produced by 6ix are pretty good. Logic Bars and flow are the same from his last project, except his rapping skills in this album do not make a lot of sense. In the End, I wish logic can take a break from rapping two years and has to figure something out on what he's doing wrong and fixes those problems he's been dealing with. 3/10 Expand
