    It took me a while to actually write this review, I wanted absorb this record, really take in the experience YEBBA was conveying to her listeners. Her grief was a sad blessing, it helped her create a body of work that is literally out of this world. The album has zero skips and each song tells a-little bit of who YEBBA is. A daughter who lost her momma, a fighter, a lover, someone dealingIt took me a while to actually write this review, I wanted absorb this record, really take in the experience YEBBA was conveying to her listeners. Her grief was a sad blessing, it helped her create a body of work that is literally out of this world. The album has zero skips and each song tells a-little bit of who YEBBA is. A daughter who lost her momma, a fighter, a lover, someone dealing with grief and death all these different layers are spoken about in this record. I urge anyone and everyone to take a moment, sit down, be still, and play this record. It is a treasure trove of healing and knowledge. I usually break down my favorite songs on an album but every song is essential, every song needs to be heard, so play press play.     Yebba is a breath of fresh air in the music industry and is one of the best vocalists out there with phenomenal songwriting and an overall amazing artist. This debut album is amazing and I highly recommend listening to it ASAP.

    Yebba is a gifted singer and an amazing songwriter, she took some time to make this album and it was worth the wait. Impeccable from the opening to the last song. Thank you for this album and how impressive that this is just the beginning of a career that will be very successful.

    She brings a different style and approach to nearly every song, veering from brassy wail to folky prim (“October Sky”), from Adele-sized power (“Love Came Down”) to breathy sultriness (“Distance”). ...
