A hollow, empty album with close to no replayability. Production is decent, nothing too out of the ordinary, but different enough to satisfy in that regard, but lyrically, this album is a 0/10. Completely void of any kind of substance and Carti should be embarassed by how dreadful his rapping ability is.

People giving it anything above a 7, why? What can you possibly say that can

8.2/10 on average according to the users. This must be a nightmare. Can you stop creating fake accounts in order to over-rate this thing please?! The fact that the press also likes it (71/100) is another kick in the brain. This is actually worrisome.

I was expecting a project with poor lyrics but I have to admit that I however was appalled by the overall level. I rarely heard such violent, abrasive, shallow, disruptive, childish and disrespectful lyrics from such a popular and appreciated artist. I couldn't act like if I didn't notice it.

Production is decent: too few tracks to be definitely impressed about it but on this side 'Die Lit' has some interesting surprises. As I said I tried to approach this album by focusing my attention on sounds and rhythms more than lyrics but I had no other choice than to recognize that it didn't even tried to be innovative. All the tracks sound pretty much the same. I guess Playboi Carti is original by all the sounds he surprisingly manages to broadcast with his mouth and his particular voice but it is far from the originality I expected. These songs have absolutely no replayability.

The numerous featured artists were unexpected. I wasn't surprised by the presence of Lil Uzi Vert, Gunna, Young Nudy and Chief Keef, but what are Skepta and Bryson Tiller doing in here? Are they also trying to sell their soul to the devil of the shallow and mercantile approach?

I can't stand the popularity of this album because it demands you to voluntarily bleed out of your ears to be acceptable. Everything is so shrill especially Carti's voice. And Pi'erre Bourne's productions don't help at all. Even sonically 'Die Lit' doesn't try to propose something we don't already have heard more than a thousand times before. Repetitive, with a classic structure and without any decent message to carry. Sad but true: the only moment where I vibed during this hole thing were during 'Long Time', the intro. I guess Carti couldn't make better than a strong start.

This is gonna be short. The production is actually very good but playboi carti is just mumbling and its more ad-libs than normal lyrics and it annoying and awful and his flows are not good and very repetitive the only good thing about the album is the song ”choppa won't miss“

I don't like using this words to describe albums, but damn this album is Trash. The only redeeming thing about this is one or two features it has. I've learned to like the so called turn up rappers. I know i'm not gonna get anything lyrically, but i expect to get entertained.

This album however is neither clever or entertaining, i don't understand when rappers that have no versatility

This album however is neither clever or entertaining, i don't understand when rappers that have no versatility decide to go for a long track list album. It's better to keep it short and simple, yet this project doesn't.

The amount of ad-libbing in here is really tiring, his flow is good, it has to be since he has no concern with rhyme delivery.

Completely terrible album, and i wouldn't recommend it to anyone

This is the most one sided, boring and overrated album in the history of hiphop. When shoota is your best Song on the album thats how you know, because that song is honestly if im being generous a 5/10. When this album makes his self titled album look like a masterpiece thats how you know too. Everyone who likes this album is either trolling or is deaf and just red the lyrics

Die Lit is more of the same rambling, mumbling, inane garbage we gave grown used to from Pleighboi Cardi. His KTT fans can spam all the threads they want declaring him the goattie but it doesn't change the fact that Carti's inability to craft anything other than repetitive ad-lib saturated songs is causing the few fans he has left to die bored, resulting in his brief 5 minutes of fameDie Lit is more of the same rambling, mumbling, inane garbage we gave grown used to from Pleighboi Cardi. Soon Carti will go the way of the Lil Wane & Lil B sxns, he will fade away with no one left to remember or care about his dull, lifeless discography. Expand

Lame and bland, it would have done us all a favour if it didn't see the light of day.

Like Rae Sremmurd and Migos, these big-bass trap anthems owe much to their club-friendly vibe, but offer little in terms of substance or lasting impact.

Through a more respectable body of work--is unlikely to win over any naysayers.

Thanks to the lack of coherence or variety though, nothing on Die Lit really sticks. It's fun enough but, save for a few keepers, has the lifespan of a mayfly. Rock to it for the summer and forget most of it by September.
