Jan 15, 2014This album is bursting with inspirational lyrics and great beats. An example is “Angels & Airwaves”, a song about self-harming but also “Black Dahlia”, a song about Angel’s troublesome relationship with her mother. This album is a must buy and worth a 10/10.

Sep 22, 2014Angel Haze's "Dirty Gold" really impressed me! I didn't hope for something so powerful from a rapper. This album is so personal and Angel put so many Faith and love on the songs that I'm really in loved.

Jan 19, 2014Angel Haze has dope lyrics, it's just that I knew her as a rapper but she overdid the singing... There are songs that were well executed... She has also shown to all the Devil-worshipping rappers that she worships the Lord and she showed it in Rose-Tinted Suicide...

Apr 23, 2014Angel Haze is a very respectable rapper overall, with some great personality. Not with this record though. Her early tracks were so much better, grittier. This is a very commercial and radio friendly record, with very mediocre beats. Almost silly sounding. It is somewhat more accessible, but it suffers for it. She really needs to get back to what got her started in the first place.

Mar 5, 2014She's going for Nicki Minaj meets Eminem meets Rihanna on the Tyra show. It feels like a major missed opportunity.

MojoFeb 11, 2014Haze's impetuosity may've harmed Dirty Gold's commercial prospects, but the purity of her intent speaks volumes. [Mar 2014, p.94]

Feb 5, 2014Dirty Gold is certainly a flawed debut, and yet it's not what's inside that's flawed, it's just the container's inability to hold such OCD-ish genius.
