An impressive debut album from the Atlanta rapper. The album feels and sounds exactly like what the title suggest, a love letter. The production is smooth and made for 6lack slow and soothing sound.

I just wanted 6lack to get out of his comfort zone, but you can't really ask too much from a debut album. The beats and his voice can start getting a bit tiring after some time, but that

An overall good debut, can't wait to see what 6lack has in store for us

6lack continues to be a generic artist with repetitive music. Nothing special about this project. Poor man's Bryson Tiller, and Tiller is not much.

Aunque no es un álbum muy innovador, tiene sonidos muy refrescantes y cautivadores los cuales son únicos en 6black. Muy buen álbum en general

"East Atlanta Love Letter", 6LACK's sophomore studio album, is no surprise, but no disappointment either, and the logical conclusion to his debut "FREE 6LACK". With soothing, laid-back R&B on voluminous hip hop beats, 6LACK stays on familiar ground.

The smooth transitions between the quiet and slow songs as well as harmonious feature guests round off the album. Ideal for certain late-night activities.

    My favorites:
    "Nonchalant"
    "Switch"
    "Balenciaga Challenge"

This album is not amazing, it has its flaws and it's a bit generic. But it hits home for me. Helped me through some very hard times. 6LACK's vocals feel like meditation for me. Yeah very nice listen and will always be one of the most comforting albums to me personally.

The purest pop song is “Switch,” the one track that can pass for uptempo and boasts a hook that sticks. A few more fun moments like this would have helped keep the record moving.

For every three sweet nothings like “Time will never wait on us but it never can age our love” (from “Stan”), there remains a “Life without my love is a slant rhyme / That mean it works out but it ain’t quite,” dulling the moment.

In an era where artists hype up projects that turn out to be nothing but half-baked playlists, 6LACK’s thoughtful embrace of the album format is refreshing. East Atlanta Love Letter is a moody masterpiece that may very well take the artist’s career to new heights.
