The first time I heard "A Little More Country Than That" on the radio, I knew I had to check this guy out because he resembles the voice of King George. I ended buying the whole album. The vocals, instruments, and composition of the album give me hope that country music is not all becoming poppy crap. Expand

  1. Producer Carson Chamberlain's new penny polish and Corbin's traditional twang balance each other out nicely. Corbin's debut is jam-packed with the sounds of yesterday.
  2. Taking a page from the George Strait playbook, country music newcomer Easton Corbin displays excellent song sense while offering an easygoing vocal style on his finely crafted self-titled debut album.
  3. The songs are strong, and the music is an engaging mix of smooth, midtempo honky-tonk dolloped with swing and pop.
