Dec 18, 2020If “Holding Strong,” “Talk Talk,” “I Can Only Miss You,” and “Don’t Give Up” are any indication, Groove Armada could easily have made an entire album of just this type of material. It would have been confusing, but they have an authentic, if not-quite-as-catchy-as-it-could-and-should-be feel for it.

Dec 18, 2020Altogether, Edge of the Horizon is a pleasing trip through the psychedelic that bridges the vibes of a past era with sharp production, providing a calming comedown to balance the rest of Groove Armada's catalog.

Dec 18, 2020It is not instantly recognisable as Groove Armada, but it shows how the pair have moved on from constant festival sets and gigs to managing farms in France, as Andy Cato now does. Clearly they still want to have a good time, but the stress is now on music that feels older than it does new.
