Mar 11, 2014It's a good album. It has some good guitar work, and the country feel is nice. But nothing sticks, however. Not a single track did i hear that i felt like getting back to. It didn't feel remarkable in any particular way.

Mar 6, 2014Chuck Berry proclaimed, "Long Live Rock & Roll" in his 1956 single "School Days" Other early rockers continued to celebrate the music saying it would last forever. Would 2014 qualify? I guess it would. And "English Oceans" is the best Rock & Roll record the Drive by Truckers have made since 2008. I've been "Hearing Jimmy Loud" over and over. Congratulations and best wishes to the band

Mar 31, 2014Shonna Tucker may have left the fold for a solo career, but in Hood and Cooley the Truckers still have two of the most eloquent songwriters working in Americana.
