This is a great album by a great up and coming band. Good old school rock and roll. They'll get a lot of comparisons to Kings of Leon but that's not a bad thing. They not ripping off their style. Rather they have their own unique southern rock sound that is in line with other southern rock bands. Heavy bells even reminded a bit of Nirvana.....but in a upbeat sort of way. It's unfortunate that these splendidly rumbustious tracks make the lumbering ballads even harder work by comparison. [May 2014, p.81]

JRW's third has enough honky-tonk brio to merit comparison with Kings Of Leon. [Apr 2014, p.98]

There's no fresh spin on the hoary old Led Zep-isms of Sweat Shock and recent single Heavy Bells, while more ponderous material fails to distinguish them from a competent bar band.
