Quite possibly the worst release, in any genre, this year (Atilla's About that Life album might give it some competition). There is nothing to "get" here. It's just a marketing ploy aimed at the naive Warped Tour-core crowd, and I could say with utmost certainty that Brett Gurewitz, owner of Epitaph, has completely destroyed any integrity he had left. This isn't so much as "He isn't a true punx" complaint, as it is that there is no reason for this to exist besides financial gain. Expand

As Classic Rock Magazine said, "Ronnie Radke's lyrics are convincingly nasty". There are some good songs here, some bad songs here, but it's good to listen to.

No. There are too many 10s for this album from idiotic high schoolers spewing platitudes like, "You just don't understand Ronnie" or asinine claims attesting to the inaccessibility of the song structures, rather than their complete non-existence. I am literally shocked and appalled that after such a fantastic premier album that "Falling in Reverse" could release such an album like this one. It's misguided, confused, and disappointing. There are some songs here that I do actually like, but I've never listened to an album that can range from excellent to generic then right to terrible the way this one does. Even more shocking is that it can make these changes right in the middle of a song!

The problem with this album is that there is so much failed experimentation with the band's musical style. Everything sounds great when the band is sticking to it's rock and screamo/metal roots, but everything goes to hell the moment the album takes a misguided turn in order to experiment with musical styles such as hip-hop, rapping, pop, techno, electronica, and even country. The moment this happens everything just starts to sound awful. Even worse the quality of the lyrics even degrade, especially when Radke starts rapping. The lyrics can range from deep moments where Radke is singing about his mother, to downright juvenile and plain out and flat stupid anytime else.

This is a very disappointing album. Nothing here lives up to the bands previous work. There are still some really great songs here, and I do respect them for having the guts to experiment with their sound, but I can't help but feel like this album is the epitome of a failed experiment. As far as I'm concerned the majority of this album will be a permanent blemish on their record that will make it hard for me to excited for any future work they may do in the future.

A desperate attempt by Ronnie Radke to stand out from your typical 'scene' band. Lyrically the album is repetitive and clichéd. A super catchy album, however it is abnormal due to the fact that it was brought into a genre that isn't accustomed to this style. All of the "real" fans of Falling in Reverse like this album, or at least tolerate, simply because this album was the make-or-break point of the fan base. Many "fans" left after this album, and wrote bad reviews because this isn't what they wanted. However, this doesn't make this a bad album. This, in my opinion, is 10x better than their third album, the one everyone adores. This album is fast, upbeat, catchy, and different. It mixes post-hardcore and screaming with upbeat pop rhythms and vocals. And don't forget the solos. The solos are great. If you love both rock and pop, this album is definitely for you. Ignore all the hate and listen for yourself. I'd start with "Where Have You Been". Expand

Ronnie Radke was finally able to produce an album that he wanted. No one seems to enjoy it because they can't seem to follow the organization of the songs. The diversity this album has should not be a bad thing, It's allowing an artist, who has gotten to the level that every person strives to get to, to actually enjoy creating music. The amount of energy Ronnie puts into each of his songs and the meaning behind it is what the album should be about not producing an album that is going to sell records. Personally I'm a huge fan of Ronnie and what he does. It's nice to actually see a performer who wants to put out music he enjoys playing rather than what the audience is going to listen to. This has been one of my favorite albums purely because of the excitement in Ronnie's voice as he is singing. As much as i give him credit for this, his entire band provides the opportunity for him to do so and they back him up with outstanding "music" Expand

Much like Radiohead's critically polarizing Kid A, Falling in Reverse have released an album that will divide its listeners and challenge everyone's preconceptions of the band; is this a piece of work that will take time for listeners to appreciate, an album that pushes the boundaries and be recognised as a masterpiece for daring to experiment with more than 3 music genres (often withinMuch like Radiohead's critically polarizing Kid A, Falling in Reverse have released an album that will divide its listeners and challenge everyone's preconceptions of the band; is this a piece of work that will take time for listeners to appreciate, an album that pushes the boundaries and be recognised as a masterpiece for daring to experiment with more than 3 music genres (often within the same song)? Or is this in fact just the generic angry diary entries of a 29 year old man with "issues" who hates everybody? Either way, Ronnie Radke has created an album that will be controversial due to its uniqueness who would expect rap and dubstep from a post-hardcore group? The album has some standout moments, mostly due to the intriguing production of tracks which span many popular music genres (not because of the lyrics which are on occasion just plain silly ("man I've been in rap since I was ****ing in Pampers")), the singing has somewhat improved, showing Ronnie's ability to scream and rap which comes off quite well.
Ronnie Radke must be given some credit for daring to create such an album like this, which will be controversial for quite some time.
Standout tracks are; Bad Girls Club, Rolling Stone, Alone (purely because of the production and Ronnie's rap skills) and Game Over.

The more I listen to this album - the more I like it. The only song I'm not a fan of is the video game song. I find there is a wide range in the songs and I love Ronnie's voice.

I am literally exasperated that somebody can make a horrible and pretentious album like this one. It's nothing but garbage. Who the hell writes lyrics like that?). While their first effort was a solid one, this one just proves how much has Ronnie Radke gone downhill after Escape The Fate. Anybody giving this album a ten out of ten seriously needs to get its ears checked. Expand

I'm not the one to mock one's "artistic work, but seriously...

If you ever want to laugh your ass off at one of the biggest musical trainwrecks of the 2010's, then you should listen to this album.

A failed attempt at trying to mix genres together while remaining horribly cliched an painful.

    Hilarious...

I like it. Yes it is pretty different from the other albums they put out, but still a catchy and interesting album with some good songs. Def not Falling In Reverse's best album by any means, but it's decent.

I love how Ronnie expresses all his ventures in an album without losing his quality so good that characterizes him.

Throughout the album, there is chaos.
  3. The songs themselves are a disaster. Everything is trashy and over the top, but generally rubbish too.... Basically, this is probably the worst album ever created by a serious group of musicians.
