    Meg's flow and power is undeniable on Fever, which explores a Blaxpoitation aesthetic. "Realer" is a track for the ages.

    "fever" is the soundtrack to a revolutionary 2019. in a society dedicated to the tug-of-war of women's rights, "fever" gives a new generation of women empowerment and nerve. with "fever", megan had inducted herself into a hall of fame of female rappers with sublime lyricism and each of her tracks, although they can feel like they can blend at times, have their own personality    fever - 8.2

    Megan will be the next top female rap artist behind Cardi B, but will be a better skilled rapper at that. Her potential and energy is far beyond anyone else's, and this debut commercial mixtape harnesses that and expresses it for everyone to see. 9/10 = A

    Megan Thee Stallion shows off her fierce ability throughout this project. She is clearly still improving rapping and I expect even better from her next project.

    fever was a good album, however there were some holes in it for me. some of the songs shouldve been kept in my opinion. my top 3 songs include cash s**t, money good, and w.a.b.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Just a few months ago, Megan Thee Stallion lost her mother, Holly Thomas, to brain cancer. She was one of her biggest influences, taking her to the studio when she was young to witness her laying down tracks as the rapper Holly-Wood. In the harder tracks on Fever, you can almost see Megan’s mother sparring with her daughter, each of them delivering Rocky Balboa-blows to the jaw, becoming stronger together. She has prepared her whole life for the opportunity to challenge the coastal elites for a seat at rap’s table, and Fever is her folding chair.… Expand

    Megan definitely showcases her talent and ability to be quick and write bars. However, most of the songs have the same flow and/or similar concepts. At least 5 songs sound exactly the same.

    Rap is an extrovert’s game, but the dynamism that Megan possesses is nearly unmatched. Her verses are absolutely electrifying, packing the heat she sponged up from her favorites like UGK, Project Pat, and Trina. Sprinkle a little Memphis here, some Miami bass there, and a bit of Houston swagger, and it’s a chemistry experiment gone horribly right.
