    I consider this to be one of the most overrated albums of 2020- if not the most overrated album of the last 20 years. I have respect for the story being told in this album and the lyrics, but it’s nothing special and I don’t find the melodic elements to be anything special.

    Hasn’t grown since fearless. Her career and creativity have stagnated.her album albums and vibe are just the same. Seems like her career is dwindling.     Not my thing at all. Plus tswift has lots of super dedicated fans that post/tweet/hashtag before they even listen to a complete song to boost her ratings and keep her a top artist. She's a good singer/songwriter i just don't think she's top chart worthy. Not my style of music so obviously some bias here.

    These 16 tracks (17 on the deluxe version) play out quite pleasurably in their entirety, the joins between Swift, Dessner and Antonoff ultimately only of niche interest. But Swift’s powerful songs reach their climaxes with bittersweet orchestrations, rather than blows to the solar plexus or a ringing in the ears. Everything hovers; little truly lands.
