Unstable potential. The first two attempts failed miserably. As forevher goes through, it gets quirkier and well built. And the more it goes toward the end, the more facile it gets. While it’s not uncommon to recycle 1980-1990s pop ambience and love stories with nowadays production, ultimately this album stood out and gave different colors. Shura still has the potential.

Shura still continues to impress me. After an amazing album like Nothing's Real she comes with this really different gem that is Forevher.

It's amazing how the album floats in our minds in such a beautiful and special way. It's amazing how an adventure or something wonderful can come through a simple melody. Thank you for being so inspiring and for this beautiful work.

____ "Forever" is a harmonious combination of emotions and aesthetics, in which melodic popular music is served at a high level. The album sounds very subtle and romantic. All this resembles a light breeze on a summer day. Fresh, musical, danceable, positive. The music is influenced by her idols, but this does not deprive the album of originality and individuality.

Steeped in vivid details of a queer romance, Forevher partners jubilant pop with its ideal mate: physically charged songs of electric devotion.

Each of its 11 songs luxuriating in an unhurried, pillow-soft airiness that draws you in, as opposed to giving up secrets too willingly. Free of expectation, Shura's found her own pace. [Oct 2019, p.108]

Forevher is a highly refined album of surprising variety. Catchy hooks abound on its dance tracks, playful instrumentation more in line with psychedelic pop soak through its summer jams, and starkly sincere lyricism uphold its mellow ballads. Its more vibrant tracks are certainly the album's strong point, but even its more languid songs have an enjoyable authenticity.
