One of the best album of 2021 not just in k-pop, this album is a masterpiece, starting with a catchy title track: SCIENTIST a irresistible, enticing, groovy song talking about loving without trying to think about it so hard: MOONLIGHT the first full english song on the album, vibey dance/electronic song that is so freaking catchy to the point that you'll be so addicted with it: ICON the second full english song on the album, this song is about their success, another addicting song: CRUEL literally DANCE WITH ME? come on don't be shy, and many more tracks that will define this album as A MASTERPIECE, my favorite is LAST WALTZ as it is THE BEST?     La primera mitad del disco es en su mayoría canciones muy bien logradas con influencias de pop ochentero, de las cuales me parece destacable Fall in love again (las voces de nayeon y jihyo suenan muy bien en las notas altas y en el coro, y siempre que la escucho me dan ganas de bailar) después esta last waltz que tiene un aire de dramático, y en la que destaca para mi la voz de Sana,La primera mitad del disco es en su mayoría canciones muy bien logradas con influencias de pop ochentero, de las cuales me parece destacable Fall in love again (las voces de nayeon y jihyo suenan muy bien en las notas altas y en el coro, y siempre que la escucho me dan ganas de bailar) después esta last waltz que tiene un aire de dramático, y en la que destaca para mi la voz de Sana, también es una canción muy buena en la que TWICE sigue explorando con nuevos sonidos. Rewind es una canción que hace bajar el ritmo y prepara al oyente para Cactus, Cactus fue co producida y dirigida por Jihyo y es un buen resultado para su primera vez componiendo, es como balada pop/rock de los 2000, el trabajo hecho en las voces es excelente ya que se puede sentir la emoción y esfuerzo de cada una.
    Push and pull vuelve a subir el animo, es una canción muy alegre en la cual las voces transmiten diversión, jihyo rapeó bien. Hello es una canción con un beat muy bueno, es energético y el pre coro es diferente pero conecta bien con el resto de la canción, chaeyoung rapea y canta muy bien, Momo me sorprendió porque transmite la idea de la letra y me encanta que rapea después de un buen tiempo, Nayeon rapea por 2da vez desde que esta en TWICE y lo hizo bien. 1, 3, 2, es una canción en la que el beat combina bien con varios sonidos como de viento "orientales" y desprende sensualidad y ganas de bailar, me encantan los adlibs y como cada una de las chicas destaca.
    The feels: realmente uno de las mejores canciones de kpop en ingles, con un coro super fuerte, donde las voces de nayeon y jihyo muestran buena parte de su capacidad, y aun asi a pesar de la distribución de lineas cada miembro hace una parte memorable.
    Es increíble la calidad del álbum en la que cada canción es diferente, las chicas exploran nuevos facetas (nayeon, jihyo, mina, jeongyeon, como raperas), siguen participando activamente en la creación de las canciones, prueban nuevos sonidos y son capaces de traer géneros que actualmente son muy famosos y hacer que sea memorable. Por el momento el mejor material de TWICE, en el top de los girl groups y del k-pop.    … Expand

    It's so good. I just find a bit of a problem with Cactus and Hello but they're not terrible. They just don't compare to the rest of the songs. Such a good album. No skip.

    The best Kpop album of 2021, in 48 minutes it never makes you bored. 1,3,2 is definitely the best song here.

    Antes de que critiques escucha el álbum, yo las conocí con su anterior álbum "Eyes Wide Open" y pensé que no podría ser superado, pero este álbum lo supera para mi tanto en buenas canciones, ritmos buenos y pegadizos, buenos vocales y nuevas experiencias que no había escuchado, es innovador este álbum para mi el mejor álbum de kpop del 2021.

    It is a really great abum overall. It give us, fans, a more mature kind of music. Love all bits of it, Espresso is my fave.

    I don't listen to TWICE much but decided to check this album out due to high reviews and I must say, I am quite impressed and definitely agree with them. Has definitely kept me listening to it so far. Each track has a unique sound overall a very good album!

    i'm currently exploring kpop and this by far is the best kpop album that i've listened to! a highly-produced songs with different genres, and knowing that some members contributed on the songwriting is amazing! i also listened to their latest ep, between 1&2, and mind you, that's another masterpiece!

    My fav album from Twice. This album is perfect from start to finish and I'm really glad the girls participate more in writing/producing songs which it's not exactly a need for idol groups

    An amazing album with amazing songs. FOL is that album that have everything, Twice did an amazing work written and produced their songs. They already had sub-units and that make this album so complete and of course they work hard to give this album to their fans! Every sound it’s a masterpiece!

Me encanta lo versátil que es, maneja muchos géneros, pero lo que más me gusta es que toma lo nuevo y lo viejo de TWICE, demostrando su gran evolución musical que han tenido a lo largo de su carrera. Algunas canciones que destacan mucho son Last Waltz, Rewind y HELLO, ya que son algo que nunca habíamos visto por parte de ellas.     Formula of Love sets the bar for K-Pop. The opening track, "Scientist", is what you'd expect out of a Twice title track. With edgier songs like "Icon" and "Hello" as well as a ballad, "Cactus", among its offerings, this album has something for everyone.

    A very amazing album, I can hear that the members' singing skills are becoming more and more mature, and I can even feel the feelings in the songs. Many members were also involved in the production. The album once again proves the plasticity of TWICE, and they experimented with different styles

    A great album! It´s very coherent and shows different sides of Twice, you can see they are including new sonorities and getting bolder (in comparision w their previous releases) and in my opinion, they did a good job.

    This album explores the quality of the music TWICE's been making in the last couple of years. The versatility of styles they can deliver in 15 songs is insane, from the melodic and slow vibe in "Rewind" to the explosion of joy and expressiveness in "The Feels", and even the elegant and exquisite aura from "Espresso", their identity is showed in every track.

    EU COMO ONCE DIGO E REPITO -ALBUM DA CARREIRA-!!!!!!!!!!! Twice nunca foi tão certeiro quando lançou essa obra, talvez Eyes Wide Open bata de frente mas sinto que FOL foi de fato o maior ato delas.

    This album is a k-pop masterpiece.
    It really brings back all disco vibes and once again twice filled our hearts with contagious rhythms. Great gathering of many good songs in one place. All tracks are bangers!

    Formula of Love could have been trimmed to 10 strong cuts and I am sure it would have been one of the tightest Kpop albums in recent years. It’s easy to dismiss it due to the genre it represents, but there was considerable effort put into most of these songs, so it’s worth some listens.
