Easily one of the greatest albums ever made. Its genre-defying, dark and very intriguing to this day.

I liked that album when I was a kid but after maturing I guess it is just ok. Still, there are a lot of good songs

Arrogance is the name of the game here and this record overflows with it. It's angry ,misogynistic and frustrating. It poses as anarchist and political when in fact it's just an edgelords attempt to set themselves apart from the crowd as misanthropic skater kid.

This album at first was great but then decent in the discography of TTC. Yonkers is the best song along with some others.

Edgy for the sake of being edgy, stick it to the man and the media blah blah blah. We've all heard an album like this before. This album is the definition of growing pains. Bland production from early Tyler and lyrics that exist just to exist. I will admit that the lyricism is creative, but in the end it doesn't mean much of anything. This album is a logical continuation of Bastard album with better instrumentals and bits. You can listen that in 2022 and think it was made several years ago

A dark, captivating album that really shocks you - Tyler perfectly creates this atmosphere that reels you in, each song more shocking than the next. Solid album.

This album has his tracks, but some songs are just made to make the album longer. Not even the deluxe makes it good.
    Worst Tyler project.
Not worth the listen. The only tracks to give a listen are "Yonkers", "She", "Radical", "Analog" and "Tron Cat"

I can’t stand another second of this album with the horrocore lyrics talking about rape and murder and.... this is the creation of a depressed teenager and that’s all I can describe it as

Tyler acts full on demon and I love it. Definitely some fluff in there, but its not too much of a problem. Very uncomfortable, but it's supposed to be.

TtC's Goblin is a decent, alternative hip hop record, which depicts the dark and masked psychic profile of a nineteen-year-old man, definitely shocking the listener. The album has a really good opening part, with tracks like Radicals and Transylvania, where Tyler succeeds in being a subversive, offbeat artisti, not mentioning Tron Cat or the nonconformist-love-song Her. However, the second part of the record kind of disappoint the expectancies, with weak tracks like Sandwitches and Analog: furthermore, Window left me sort of deceived, due to me expecting a track with beat-shifts, or variation in the tone adopted by the artists involved (instead, we got a song that sounds the same for its whole length: 8 minutes!). Sometimes you definitely get the feeling that Tyler tried to experiment without the rationally conscious ideas necessary to create really good experimental stuff. Not a bad album, but the parts where you think "oh, that could have been done better" are way too much. Expand

An album that can be tough to digest at first, due to its dark beats and at times twisted lyrics. Once passed that, the greatness of the album can be seen. Tyler can be very aggressive and dark at times in the lyrics, but the album is masterfully written once one looks past the attention grabbing, horrror core lines. He weaves a fantastic story between this album, Wolf, and Bastard. TheAn album that can be tough to digest at first, due to its dark beats and at times twisted lyrics. My personal favourite tyler's album, i loved wolf a lot but this one is just amazing, that's why i was really dissapointed with flower boy, i hated the wholesome vibe, and wanted more edgy and dark tyler

Tyler's 2nd album Goblin is characterised by some of his weakest production, flows and the excessive amounts of unnecessary shock humour.

Both Goblin and WOLF are fantastic albums. However, I enjoyed WOLF a bit more, it had more OFWGKTA tracks and fewer themes of rape and killing. This is a great album for a party containing both emo white kids and gang member black kids, so whenever i was in the hood and got funny looks, I would play this album and they'd ignore me, and when I'm surrounded by weird emo kids with weird hair I would play this album and they too would ignore me. A truly gifting album.

Must be understood in the context of Tyler's musical inspiration, such as surrealist rapper MF DOOM, who puts himself into absurd situations - only Tyler does the same with intentional meaning. Look beyond whatever potential so-called "shock value" there is.

This a very inventive rap album from the underground. A very unique follow up to the great "Bastard", with it's cool flow and the genuine humor showed in the lyrics. My favorites off of this great album are "Yonkers" and "Sandwiches". The beats are better from the ones in "Bastard". This isn't an album for the easily offended, as it is quite dark. The way he tells this story of himself (Tyler) and his split personality (Wolf Haley) is pure genius and should go down in history of story telling in rap. Also a rap album without purely songs about weed and is always nice.

When it's good, it's pretty good. When it's bad....yikes. The lows are too low for this thing to deserve any higher of a rating. Too often the beats are murky and sound like they were made by an amateur on some garbage computer program. In fact, this whole album just sounds like one long angry rant. Tyler is easily overrated. No flow, no lyrics, no style, hell the songs aren't even catchy. Shock value, shock value, Shock value. Gimmick with no substance lyrically or emotionally. I am a sucker for horrorcore but tyler has no skills period. Apparently theres some deep hidden message but who cares when the music sounds like garbage...

As with most Odd Future releases (with the exception of EARL and Frank Ocean's Nostalgia, Ultra), Goblin is inconsistant, gimmicky, and really nothing special. The lazy production and horrorcore-esque lyrics go to show that being different for the sake of being different doesn't always equate to good music.

No where near as good as Bastard, Tyler's first mixtape which you could basically say was an album also. This album then delivers anger, honesty and arrogance, all in sporadic scatter-gun fashion: the overriding feeling is confused, uncertain, often unreasonable, but ultimately well intentioned.
