Sep 12, 2023The brilliance of this album cannot be overstated. We’re back in the 90s and 2000s and God do I love it. This is what pop albums used to sound like. But it’s not just nostalgic, wonderfully angsty pop-punk/pop-rock. It’s also folk (“lacy”) and New Wave (“pretty isn’t pretty”). You hear elements of Taylor, Avril, P!nk, early Katy, Sara Bareilles, Hole.

Sep 8, 2023Olivia no la tenía fácil, tenía que igualar o superar Sour, y lo hizo. Ella no nos deja de sorprender!
-
Sep 8, 2023This new album is definitely a step forward for Olivia, demonstrating her incredible ability to write, but above all to express emotions, Nigro's production is still the best, the use of each instrument is incredible, and Rodrigo's voice is the perfect complement for those melodies, without a doubt we are in front of the big promise of the music industry.

I love how she's got the pop, punk and rock influence to it. It's something everyone can enjoy! -
Sep 9, 2023Extremely well I’m literally obsessed by how she made her follow up album completely different year still her from her previous work. This is genuinely AOTY worthy at the Grammys and that’s nothing to scoff at.

Sep 11, 2023This album is relatably depressing, confiding, playful, and yet aggressive. Olivia did a great job and for sure she’ll be relevant for yearsss.

Sep 11, 2023ela evoluiu muito nesse álbum, ballad of a homeschooled girl melhor musica da carreira e dona do album junto com love is embarassing
-
Sep 8, 2023Impressive continuation of her previous work, you can see how mature the lyrics and production are and I think it is a very good construction to take adolescence as a metaphor for suffering.
-
Sep 10, 2023One of the greatest records this year, it's incredible. even better than her previous album "sour"

Sep 18, 2023“Teenage Dream” recycles a song title of Katy Perry’s and echoes a twisty-turny melody of Lana Del Rey’s. Yet Rodrigo’s emotional presence is so strong throughout “Guts” — so believable even at its most unrelatable — that you never lose the sense of a specific young person navigating a trial of her own making.
-
Sep 15, 2023GUTS is emphatic proof that Rodrigo isn't just good for a kid -- she's grown into an artist with plenty of things to say, and the confidence and eloquence to say them her way.
-
Sep 13, 2023These songs show that Rodrigo isn’t done after GUTS.
