Sep 8, 2023It does not bring a new sound to the Olivia experience. Yes more punk yet it heavily remind names like Baby Queen, Avril Lavigne and Paramore. However it still has the nice narrative element which carries the album again. Overall it is good but nothing new.

Sep 8, 2023Best album of this decade and i’m not even kidding. Thanks Olivia! My favorite songs of the album are pretty isn’t pretty, making the bed and all american b**tch
-
Sep 8, 2023This album is phenomenal. Each track bringing something new but also bringing in the old. Truly one of the best sophomore albums in recent times.
-
Sep 8, 2023she does it again! guts is a step up from sour. it's not that different, just 10 times more rock/punk. great balance between ballads and upbeat songs.
-
Sep 8, 2023She’s just exceptional, incapable of doing a bad song. This record it’s just beautifully done and does a great job showing the growth from sour
-
Sep 8, 2023This is AMAZING! She did it again! The complexity of some lyrics are stellar and the fun is so good! She’s unhinged and i’m here for it!
-
Sep 8, 2023The album is perfectly crafted from beginning to end. Olivia delivered a masterpiece lyrically and vocally alongside with incredible productions

Sep 8, 2023She shows her great talent!! But this album is honestly monochromatic (like her cover arts) it has not offered anything new or surprising, and in doing so shes repeated the same sound over and over. Lyric wise its great, it accomplishes a lot and the message gets across perfectly. I think the best songs on the album are get him back! And the grudge. Lyric-wise making the bed.
-
Sep 8, 2023fun, authentic, maybe too many ballads, but it's just my taste, they are completly fine and likable :)
-
Sep 8, 2023Her lyricism really improves a lot as compared to sour as well as the production. I'm sure her next tour will be amazing and i can't wait to take my sister with me and have the time of our lives!
-
Sep 8, 2023Zero skips. Perfectly crafted and Get Him Back is just so good! I’m vibin’

Sep 8, 2023No hate towards Olivia but it's nothing new. Exact same sound with SOUR, same theme. I don't get the hype
-
Sep 8, 2023Only couple of good ones. No originality and lyrics sounds a lil childish in some parts. Its an okay work.

Sep 8, 2023GUTS is such a great album, you get to see olivia's evolution and how she has matured, the album captures so well what it's like to be 19
-
Sep 8, 2023I have always believed that this girl will go far, she is an artist with self-planning, beautiful music
-
Sep 8, 2023The vibes are the confessions of a teenage drama queen, punk acid anthems for sad girls & gays going through menstrual cramps, acne breakouts, SATs, and bullying all at once. Moreover, it gives borderline suicidal instrumentation f×××× up high school pop catfights melancholia. A lot of diaristic hormonal imbalance hooks ala Avril/Duff combo. Amazing comeback!
-
Sep 8, 2023The rollercoaster of emotions while listening to GUTS is insane. She was able to capture the struggles and troubles of a 19/20 y/o while keeping it relatable to both the younger and older generations. This is a level up from her debut album so i'm giving it a perfect 10!
-
Sep 8, 2023I loved it sm, The Grudge and Get him back ate so hard even t'ho there are few songs i can't get behind overall it's really good
-

Sep 8, 2023GUTS é de longe um dos melhores álbuns do ano! Olivia Rodrigo continua nos mostrando seus momentos mais íntimos, com quais nos identificamos e conectamos. 10/10
-
Sep 8, 2023Concise lyricism and a committed/confident sound make this a fun and authentic album. Olivia knows what she’s doing with her vocals and is showing growth in both her sound and her maturity lyrically.

Sep 18, 2023“Teenage Dream” recycles a song title of Katy Perry’s and echoes a twisty-turny melody of Lana Del Rey’s. Yet Rodrigo’s emotional presence is so strong throughout “Guts” — so believable even at its most unrelatable — that you never lose the sense of a specific young person navigating a trial of her own making.
-
Sep 15, 2023GUTS is emphatic proof that Rodrigo isn't just good for a kid -- she's grown into an artist with plenty of things to say, and the confidence and eloquence to say them her way.
-
Sep 13, 2023These songs show that Rodrigo isn’t done after GUTS.
