One of the best albums of 2023. True music lovers shouldn't miss this one. There are many notable tracks like "Idaho Alien", "the sling", "mercury", and "deep red sea" but one track stands out amongst others, say, "trapeze artist". It deserves more recognition and listening.

The 10-song, 34-minute project crescendos, Powers perfecting his multifaceted craft while forging one of 2023’s more hypnotic sequences.

With ten tracks and roughly 35 minutes, Heaven Is a Junkyard is beautifully executed from a musical standpoint, with Powers’ piano and synthesizer often providing a bright and cheerful counterpoint to the dark lyrics at hand.
