    There is something in the flow and voice of Future that hypnotizes me. I know his lyrics are not really the most profound ones in the actual rap game but listening to his new songs is always a pleasure. For this long album it feels like Future revealed himself in a confidential way. For this long album it feels like Future revealed himself in a confidential way. Lyrics are way better than in his late singles even though some songs look just like decerebrated bangers and fillers. The very beginning of the project surprised me in a mirific way and the sequence of these three songs ('Touch the Sky' - 'Solitaries' - 'Riding Strikers') is gold work. On the opposite I felt like the end of the album was quite botched while regrouping the late singles of the artist, predictable featurings and the reix of 'Life Is Good'. There's actually a dozen of other artists that collabored with Future on 'High Off Life' but the songs he carries all alone are for me by far the best.
    DS2 was the the standard basis for what the artist can do at its peak. 'High Off Life' is not really far from it. If it was shorter and even more personal it would have been a classic just as DS2 is.    … Expand

    High Off Life is one of the most enjoyable records of this 2020, proving the musical skills of Future. Although some tracks give you the feeling of being easily forgettable (I’m thinking about Harlem Shake and All for Bad), the album is filled with flexing tracks (like Too Comfortable, Tycoon, 100 Shooters, Solitaries and Trillionaire) but also with deep songs that address the listener toHigh Off Life is one of the most enjoyable records of this 2020, proving the musical skills of Future.     Awesome album. Really good songs especially Life Is Good. Future make the best album of this year hands down with a really good production. A masterpiece.

    Aside from a few tracks, namely "Life Is Good", "Solitares", and "All Bad", the album suffers from unpolished production and a general lack of innovation.

    Good album. There’s a bit of fat that could have been cut out and we didn’t need all of the singles that came out before the album. Some very good production imo. It’s right behind ds2.

    future isone of the greats. still he can't present a record that would cement it once and for all to see. life is good is certainly outstanding in this collection. the rest is most of the time, fillers. shame.

    There are 21 tracks on jammed with booming, mellow Atlanta trap flare and some inconsistency between bangers and filler tracks with similar minimalist, psychedelic soundscapes.
