Oh my god the lyrics, the production, Demi's voice. THIS ALBUM IS A **** MASTERPIECE.
Holy Fvck is so creative and cohesive as an album, I love that the songs are all unique and not sound the same.

This album is also really nostalgic to the OG fans who loved Demi's first two albums.
AGAIN, it's a skipless emotional rollercoaster and it deserves all the awards. Album of the Year for sure.

I agree with NME because ‘Holy Fvck’ is a funeral for Lovato’s pop music. It also marks a new beginning, with an artist reborn. It also marks a new beginning, with an artist reborn. As the musician explores this ferocious sonic world and celebrating her musical roots, it’s the start of a bold new era. Demi has been and perhaps will always be a polarizing and confusing figure in pop culture who suffers from being over exposed, experiencing her worst moments publicly. But with holy fvck she address those duplicities by taking power away from instances where she wasn't allowed any such as the album higlights "29" which admonishes the inappropriate longterm relationship she had with the historic predator Willmar Valderrama whos 12 year age gap was a means to manipulate the then vulnerable drug addicted Demi. It's a sobering moment in lieu of a recent wave of anti-stautory pop song (eg. Your power by Billie ellish or favorite crime by Olivia Rodrigo to name a few). The lead single "skin on my teeth " is a hot pop punk number that nearly achieves the grit it claims to have. This feels like the rage to dancing with the devils acceptance. If you didn't like her previous stuff this record will not change your mind on that but if you did it will be a respectable step forward for her. Expand

Chaotic, energised and thrilling, this is Demi Lovato at her very best.

If anything, Holy Fvck proves that maybe it was Lovato’s pop albums that were the fluff, and this is the substance they’ve been looking for.

Holy Fvck has its flaws – Lovato’s powerful voice is unnecessarily finessed and Auto-Tuned, and 16 tracks is too long. But its gutsy ambition is a thing of substance in and of itself.
